If you're looking for breadboard-friendly sockets for DIP components, look no further. These sockets are of excellent quality and have pins that are perfect for use on a solderless breadboards as well as with any sort of through-hole soldered prototyping board.I would love to see additional options for number of positions, especially for use with DIP switches for which tend to come in a much greater variety of positions than typical ICs. Of course, a socket with a larger number of positions could be used, but especially when prototyping, there's always a tight budget on space.
