It worked initially after installation, but shortly after, it began disconnecting from the app frequently. I had to manually reconnect Bluetooth every time just to get it to show up in the app. Now, it’s stopped connecting and won’t function at all.

This was a easy replacement for the original on my master belt. It works well and is easy to see. The Wi-Fi function doesn't seem to be working but that could be another problem on my smoker.

Replacing this unit fixed my issue and got my smoker back running. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because the display is hard to see in daylight. This is a common issue with oem parts as well

I just put this controller in today, but I tested it and it seems to work fine. It is from Masterbuilt for my Masterbuilt smoker, so I don't anticipate any problems with it.

I purchased a Masterbuilt 40” electric smoker April 2023.Display on control was so dim it was only readable in dark. I contacted customer service but were unable to replace defective controller.I was happy to see in August a 3rd party was selling a replacement. We I received it the results were the same. Too dim to read in. Sent back for refund.Will not buy any form of Masterbuilt product in future and will make sure to let my family and friends know of issues I had with defective control panel, poor customer & unable to buy quality replacement part.

masterbuilt electric smoker Are a waste of MONEY, reason we had to buy yet another controller, purchased this smoker for my Husband as Christmas gift in December 2021, had to return two weeks after 1st use, got a brand new one from Sports Academy, two months later, smoker stopped working and we were told to contact master built, was NEVER ABLE TO SPEAK WITH A REAL PERSON AND NEVER RECEIVED CALL, DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS PRODUCT
