Got a quote for about $500 for one lower ball joint replacement. Did the whole front end for about half of that. The lower ball joint removal and installation required some creative uses of the tool from the auto part store. An impact driver made the job much more doable. A few hundred miles and no issues so far.

Make sure you look at your lower control arms to determine if they are aluminum or steel. Aluminum control arms are grey-colored and steel are black (OEM) or they will have rust on them depending on where you live. If you have aluminum lower control arms you'll need to buy the ball joints for the aluminum control arms separately from this kit. The ball joints included in this kit are not thick enough for the snap ring to engage as the aluminum control arms are thicker than the steel ones. I found this out the hard way after pressing one of these in and realized the body of the ball joint wasn't long enough no matter how much I pressed it. Everything else was great, and tightened everything back up like new.
