So impressed Brujo Later produced the band's first demo, "A Batalla Vamos" Dentro del Mantro Gris de Chaac is the band's first new label Candlelight Records.

Great black metal sung in Spanish with occasional folk mexican instruments that help to express the dark atmosphere throughout the music.

A mexican band from Utah that sings in Spanish, Yaotl Mictlan play your basic, run-of-the-mill classic black metal without bringing anything new to an already over-clogged genre. This is well composed and impeccably executed for the genre, but musically, there's nothing here that could make this band stand out from countless Belphegor soundalikes besides its Mayan mythology inspired lyrics. Ultimately, even if this album can be pretty enjoyable for any black metal fan, I can only recommend it to obsessive collectors.
