After having and throwing a Yanaki for 25 years, I finally decided to purchase the Delicate Arch. I was seriously disappointed when the Delicate Arch arrived. First and foremost is the poor finish quality of this boomerang. The finish is very rough as you can obviously see in the pictures and feel in person. The weights aren’t installed flush with the surface of the boomerang and there are some sort of pin or staple holes all over the boomerang. There is no labeling or branding on the boomerang as in the past to tell even the model of the boomerang. I am aware that Colorado Boomerangs has changed ownership a couple of times and I guess the quality has fallen by the wayside. I will give it two stars because the plywood quality still seems to be pretty good.If I keep this boomerang, I will end up sanding and reworking the fit and finish on it for sure.

It was nice booma. But it flewn in to the sea when I throw it second time. It was my mistake :-) but I would have one more of it.

Excellent boomerang. Makes about 100-120° circle if thrown 45-60° off the wind. Needs a good hard snap throw, not too much offset - I only use 10-15° offset max. Some people complain of it crashing. That's because it's a heavy rang, and needs tweaking. In low wind, tweak the edges up before you throw it so it doesn't hit the ground halfway around. In heavier wind tweak the edges down and don't throw too directly at the wind or it will 'sky' and then crash.I remember how to tweak this way: think of getting in or out of a plane on the tarmac:passenger goes UP and IN to the plane, or Down and Out to leave the plane.Tweak the edges UP and it flies UP and IN => it fly UP (higher) and IN (tighter circle)Tweak the edges DOWN and it flies DOWN and OUT => flies lower and OUT (farther, wider circle)For newbies: hold the tweak for 5 seconds, then throw it right away before it rebounds to its old shape.

Learning how to throw this thing (still in the process of) its extremely difficult coming from a guy who is a perfectionist. IT DOES COME BACK. This boomerang works 100%. The only problem is you need to really understand how to throw it and it needs to be breezy outside. I get it to come back maybe 1 in ever 15 throws, but that's just because I suck and haven't had time to master it yet. Definitely worth the buy if you are really good with boomerangs, but as a beginner, I strongly recommend a beginner boomerang in order to get better, and eventually learn how to throw this more advanced boomerang. BE CAREFUL, it hurts to catch sometimes because it does come in pretty fast sometimes. But i really do like this boomerang it looks great on my collection of frisbees.

So I paid 30.xx dollars for this boomerang plus shipping. I got it on time but when in opened the box I was disappointed immediately!!!!!!! Just by looking at it I was able to tell it was cheap as hell!!! I was seriously thinking about returning it without even touching it. I didn't want to wait two or more weeks to get my money back. I had a boomerang before and was able to throw it pretty well. So I figured I could try it out. I even read the booklet. I threw it a couple times at the 4th throw it snapped in half when it landed on the grass. I do not recommend this thing.

Beautiful flight on this long-distance rang. I'd say it is difficult for a beginner to throw and catch, but when you finally get a good throw, it's an extremely satisfying visual.

I've thrown most all of the larger booms including many of the large composites and, for some reason--perhaps the relatively small wing area--this boom just won't make it back most of the time. Very tricky to throw with no room for the slightest mistake. I'm a pretty good thrower with a strong arm and this thingjust won't work for me. Maybe it's me. But I can assure you there are better booms out there. Incidentally, Colorado Boomerangs were bought out by a bigger corporation and ditched a lot of their better booms--notably the Kilamanjaro--in the process. Stupid move. Anyway, my last Delicate Archwas eaten by a tree and it can stay there as far as I'm concerned. Wish I had the money back, though.

it comes back to me but i can't see it because it goes too far up in the air so when i try to catch it, it is not easy.
