love these strings, but quality control at dean markley is non-existent. i have received many packages with defective strings right out of the package. sometimes they replace them, sometimes they dont. buyer beware

Loved the strings .. didn't like the customer service. I won't buy these again.I bought new strings and they were defective out of the box. Dean Markley promised replacements. They never sent them.I won't purchase any Dean Markley strings ever again because of this.

They have a nice twangy sound that you hear a lot in rock songs. Don't tighten them too tight though or they snap.
