Does the mat protect your floor completely?
The thickness of this mat is 0.3cm, and the thickness of the area where the dart falls is 0.6cm. Due to the different heights and angles of the dart falling, the mat cannot completely prevent the dart from piercing.
Why is there two throwing lines printed on this mat?
Horizontal distance from the face of the dartboard to the front of the throwline differs between steel tip and soft tip dartboards.
Steel tip dartboards: Horizontal distance is 7 feet 9 ¼ inches (2.37 meters).
Soft tip dartboards: Horizontal distance is 8 feet (2.44 meters).

Love the T shape and the carrying case for effective storage. Foam is decent quality like a thinner yoga mat material.

We recently put a dart board in our garage. Its nice for the teens to mess around on, but its hard to determine how far away you should be from the board. This helps tremendously. We have a dirt floor in the garage so putting tape down wasn't really an option. Although the $90 price tag, I could have bought a small rug and threw some tape on that for a better price. Its convenient though.

This is a great set of (2) dart mats. The dart mat with the (2) "throw lines" is 23 1/2" wide x 9' long x 1/4" thick. There are (2) different length throw lines depicted - the 'red' line is 7' 9-1/4" is used when you are throwing metal tipped darts and the 'white' line is 8' and is used when throwing soft tipped darts. The throw line is actually called "oche" pronounced like the word "hockey" without the "H". The dart mat also has a dartboard depicted on it displaying the numbered sections and their score when hitting inside the double and treble segments (see pics).The "T" shaped mat (shorter one) is 16"x 55" and 1/4" thick - this mat portion provides an additional area of protection for your dart in case it does not stick into the board and falls to the ground - you protect both the dart and the floor. This mat has a logo printed on it saying "Keep calm". Note: this mat lays over top of the "dart mat" so the dart mat lays directly underneath the dartboard (see pics).The mats have a nice soft rubber feel and there is no sensation of being slippery - even when wet. Besides protection and correct distance markings - these mats are actually attractive in appearance and gives a professional look when playing darts. Additionally, when playing certain games. i.e., 501, 301 - there is a list of scoring options so you don't have to do the calculations.Overall, I really like these mats - the quality of material, markings, feel underfoot, make this a (5) star product. IMO, this mat set is selling at a price comparable to similar items.

Grabbed these because I put up a dartboard in our game room, and I don't want the kids ruining the floor with missed shots.I also got it because inevitably people start throwing darts from either 5 feet away or 15 feet away, so having a physical object to mark where you should be throwing from is nice.I don't need all the scoring details printed on the mat, but it's fine.The one thing I don't like is that the design of these mats is such that the T mat for right by the dartboard is intended to just be laid over the distance mat. It looks klugey.

These are great dart mats especially if you have hardwood floors. These will protect those floors from Aaron darts or bounce outs. It’s also convenient way to have a line on your floor for the correct throwing distance without making any sort of permanent mark or using tape that eventually leaves a yucky residue. Highly recommended!

This floor mat for use under a dart board is very nice, it provides two different toe lines (for steel tip or soft tip darts) and a handy score calculator. My only slight complaint is that I think the wide portion should be made from material that is a little more dense so that the dart tips can't go all the way through. But it still does a very good job of protecting them, and I feel confident recommending this to others.
