I seriously love this stuff. I originally found it because I was looking for a glue to bond plastic pieces together and this was suggested to me. I haven't regretted it at all.Obviously this is a pretty permanent glue so it's not appropriate for something you only want to hold in place temporarily. This stuff is great for something you want really bonded and won't fall apart! The fact that it's a gel makes a great product even better. The gel goes exactly where I want it and I don't have the issue of glue running down my piece or getting all over my fingers.Highly recommend.

It is slightly thicker than standard super glue.Which allows me to fix things I could not previously fix because the old superglue would not stay in place.Web search found that this superglue would the strongest superglue weight test with 5000+ pounds with 5 drops. Was able to seal and store in ziplock bag for prolonged usage … was able to use every drop.

I have purchased the gel and original loctite multiple times from Amazon because it is amazing! It's ease of use and the control of distribution is on point. It dries so quickly and lasts. The only thing I have had an issue with it is,water. Too much contact with water and the glue loses its adhesive qualities. I have used it even to fix my glasses when I broke them. Give it a try it's great price and dries quickly!

I really enjoy creating art, and I have a number of glues and adhesives I lean-on when I work, and this is one I keep in my arsenal at all times.Loctite Ultra Gel Control Super Glue is one of my favorites because it adheres to so many things, and is more of a gel in nature than some more liquidy options. Because it's a gel, you have a lot more control when you're using it, and it isn't as susceptible to drips. It goes on clear and dries clear without clamping, and as long as you keep the top tight, it should last a nice long while. When using it, it should be held in place for about a minute, and then left undisturbed for about ten minutes. This gives you a little bit of wiggle room for most tasks. A full cure is achieved in 24 hours. It features a rubber-infused technology that creates a flexible bond, but resists impact, twisting and pulling. It works in all temperatures and conditions, and can be used for repairing figurines, costume jewelry, cameras, toys, metal car parts, and more. It bonds leather, cork, paper, cardboard, wood, chipboard, fabric, metal, ceramic, rubber and hard plastics such as Plexiglas, polycarbonate, polystyrene and PVC. And on the whole: is one of the most versatile glues I own, and I would highly recommend it.I am a longtime Amazon Prime customer who enjoys writing reviews in my free time. If you have any questions or comments about this product or my review, feel free to message me and I'll be glad to help!

I have always used liquid glues and always got stuck fingers when it dripped on to my hands while trying to fix something. This also happened when I tried to puncture the tiny hole at the top of the tube to get it started. Glue would always spurt out with barely any pressure on the tube. I kept a bottle of nail polish remover handy. More frustrating was the fact that there was hardly any glue in those tubes. So much was wasted. This gel sure makes a major difference. First, the directions for puncturing the top are that you twist the top until the clicking stops. I have no idea what is going on in there, but it sure beats trying to do it the other way. When I took the top off, no glue came out until I gently pressed the sides of the bottle as directed. GEL! So nice to be able to put a drop of glue where you want it, and not have it go where you don't! This container is rigid everywhere except on a small strip on each side where you can gently press to expel the glue. The name of the game here is "control". You will have control over this glue, it will not be a race to get the dripping glue where you want it. This gel sets far faster than the liquid so there is no need to hold anything together until it sets. No more need for massive piles of newspapers or other coverings under your project. A simple sheet of paper towel will be adequate. This will free you from "glue anxiety". Not to mention the embarrassment (fun?) of having to pick off stuck-on glue from your fingers for days. Get it. You'll never go back to the drippy stuff again.

I have 5 little boys. Things break. I used to make a pile of "please fix this" things for my sweet husband -- toys, model airplanes, bobbleheads, etc. He's a busy guy and things rarely made it out of that pile -- it became the Broken Things Graveyard in the basement. I've used super glue before, but inevitably it's too runny, my fingers stick together, the paper towel I'm using to protect my table ends up stuck to the thing I'm gluing, and after I've used the tube once it's all dried out and the lid glued on next time I want to use it. So I gave up on fixing things.Until I found this! I've used one bottle at least 10 times and I'm back for more. The gel is thick enough not to run off if you're gluing something sideways, but not so thick that it has bulk to it when it dries (like glue-gun glue would). The gel makes it so it goes where you want it and stays there until you've got your pieces positioned right. It dries fast enough to let go of the two pieces I'm gluing in under a minute, and within 5 minutes it seems totally set. The squeezy-sizes are great, so much better than that horrible old toothpaste-tube design. Here's a tip -- glue over an old cookie sheet, not a paper towel, so you don't end up with your item glued to the paper towel or with glue on your table. So now if something breaks, it gets fixed lickety-split! Just today I fixed two model airplanes, two pinewood derby cars, and the broken spindle on a chair. No more Broken Things Graveyard. I'm a happy mom.
