The Maverick’s updated design retains the iconic “Swiss cheese” front panel and AM/FM radio with modern updates like built-in Bluetooth, a headphone jack, an extendable antenna, and the option to use AC or battery power. We think it’s obvious why this fantastic mid-century design deserved to come out of retirement. I wanted an old antique retro classic radio from the ATOMIC age or MID CENTURY MODERN ERA but with better sound and bluetooth. I did not want a small cheapie plastic repro. This fit the bill. Nice larger size just like the old ones but with modern day sound. I love the color and the design. It looks great with my quartz countertops and modern kitchen!
