Item came as described. Left new battery into charge since my original al was still good. But when I changed them out, the new one was o ly at 13% despite being "cbarged".It quickly charged my original and that worked well. We shall see on my next swap.

The battery is good for one cycle of use and then will not hold a charge on re-charge. It will claim that it is fully charged, but no Ring device will show it as having anything other than 6% left at most, if it registers anything at all. This will keep live view from being available, and may even require you to reset your device is the battery drops low enough, just to get it to reconnect to your network. This is with it being charged with either the supplied dual cradle or Ring's official charging cable. This has happened with two separate orders (each for different houses).The cradle itself would appear to be useful, if it weren't for the loose cables and design that will cause the battery to not properly charge unless the USB connector is inserted in just the right way. I do not trust and will not continue to use the charger.This is a complete waste of money and you should move on to an official Ring battery (as hard as they are to come by currently, with a 4 week delivery period currently).

This is a decent product but it is not the ring brand. It works and all my ring products except my stick up cam. Besides that I am extremely happy with the product and it’s great to Have a charger for the battery standing by.

The only difference that I can see on this battery vs the Ring battery is the color of the charging light; on this battery it’s red, on the Ring battery it’s orange. I think the battery life is the same, I didn’t have to replace one battery for the other any sooner. No issues with the fit. This battery is less expensive and works the same.

If you have the original ring doorbell, the battery is essentially non-replaceable. Although you can take the doorbell apart by removing the 4 screws holding the aluminum cover and then pry off the cover and remove 4 more screws to then open the unit, the battery is glued in. Although it can be separated, there are no replacements to be found other than used batteries. Ring help material even states that if the battery fails on an original ring doorbell, the device needs to be replaced. So the original is not "ring doorbell 1". I am keeping this battery because I just ordered a new ring doorbell where I could use this battery at some poi8nt.

Seems to be working just as well as the original and a much better price than the Ring brand one. With a second one now I don't need to sit without a battery in my Ring and forget to put back in for days.
