I order early because I am a dog groomer and can’t afford to run out of the shampoo necessary for me to do my job. I ordered a bottle of shampoo a month ago, February 4th. Then 3 weeks later I ordered another one just so I had a spare. I just opened the first one yesterday March 7th. The soap is clumpy, won’t mix with water (think oil and water), and smells strange. I am unable to return it because the return day was March 4th. I then open the second bottle and the same thing. According to the Internet these bottles are expired. I am able to return the second 105$ bottle and get a refund, but I’m unable to get my second refund. I’m really upset with this quality and I’m considering switching brands. Check your soap so you don’t have the same problem.

We have 2 Akitas, one with long hair. This conditioner (and the matching shampoo) are a must. We use a self service dog wash and they gave me some to use one day. I immediately bought it! It helps really release any lose undercoat. It smells wonderful and neither dog seems to have negative reactions to it. We've been through a lot of dog shampoos & conditioners, these are the best.

Great Product!

A Groomer friend told me about Nature's Specialties products and I've been using Plum Silky on my Long Rough Border Collie. He is a year-round shedder and blows his coat a bit twice a year but he still really hangs on to his old, dead undercoat which gives him a reddish/brown cast especially to his rear end and tail. The Reddish hair frustrates me as he is a healthy, active dog. I used this EZ Shed conditioner today as a pretreatment: I applied it full strength to his completely wet coat, worked it in well and let it sit for 7 minutes. I then rinsed him completely, washed with Plum Silky and conditioned with diluted Plum tastic. I had more hair in the tub than ever before. After a blow out and brush/comb out, I had even more dead hair out. I am thrilled and I'm sure he feels better! I plan to buy the EZ Shampoo to use occasionally. Great Products with great scents!

Very great shampoo for my German Shepherd. You do have to dilute it or else it could dry out a dogs skin. My dog has shed less since using this shampoo for 3 months.

We have a Rottweiler that sheds continuously, sometimes i wonder if the dog hair bunnies are multiplying on their own... Sense i've started incorporating this stuff into her wash routine you can actually pet her with out coming up with a handful of hair. I do find that for the day after i wash her there is quite a but more hair but then it actually stops long enough for me to have a clean house once in a while.

I love this conditioner. I use it in conjunction with Nature's Specialties EZ Out Detangling Pet Shampoo. I do dilute it at a different proportion than suggested though. In my experience if you mix it at the suggested rate it really doesn't do the job. I usually mix it at about 1:19 or 1:20, somewhere in there, but that is just me. It rinses well and you end up with a wonderful smelling, shiny haired dog with manageable fur. The remaining loose fur just slides off when you rinse. It makes my long haired mutt look majestic and my German Shepherd look like a show dog. My short haired yellow lab mix is equally well presented but it's less obvious with a lighter and shorter coat. The scent of this shampoo and conditioner lasts longer than any other I have ever bought. If I don't let them go outside and find something to roll in (or something similar) it can last up to four days as far as active scent lingering goes. I also bought the Nature's Specialties Foo-Foo spray in Simply Plum to "touch up" the wonderful smell from time to time and it works great also. As far as controlling shedding long term, I really can't say. It does seem to help for a few days but since we have a German "Shedder" and never completely get rid of loose fur, I've pretty much given up.
