Just know its massive and heavy so youll need a very stable table for this. Set up is pretty simple and we couldn't wait to use this for summer since its in the triple digits in texas. It's perfect to make some snowcones!

This is a great addition to the home for the summer. Everyone loves snow cones and this makes it incredibly easy to make them. Add some syrup and you're good to go. If you're looking for that really soft shaved ice feeling, then I haven't been able to achieve that with this machine. However, it is easy to use and to clean, and grinds the ice into fine shards for snow cones.

This unit is fast, but they should not claim it makes shaved ice. It doesn't. It makes snow cone ice. When you've been to Hawaii, you know what shaved ice is, and this is not it. The product description and photos claim you could make milk shakes with it. How? The instructions say not to pour water through it for cleaning (because the motor could be damaged), so how in the world would you clean this thing after putting ice cream through it, or anything other than just clean ice? So, I would say it's less versatile than claimed, but it does make snow cone ice very proficiently. It has a large holding area and the door latch works well. One tiny complaint - there is no valve on the drain. It comes with a short silicone hose to stick on the drain. I quickly figured out to just tie a loose knot in the hose to keep the drain plugged, but that is silly. There should be a valve on it. At least include a plastic hose clamp.

We’ve got a bunch of teenagers, and this is such a fun addition to the household gadgets. We got it just in time for summer and the kids actually spend time with us (complaint free) when it’s “snow cone night”. The machine is heavy but easy to move around. It’s easy to use, just attach the handle, fill, turn on and push down when ready. We’ve noticed the slower we push down, the finer the ice shavings are, fluffier rather than ice chips. Easy to clean and store if you’ve got room for it.

Amazing product for the price. We shaved ice so quickly that no one had to wait on line. Great functionality! In one hour, we made 107 snow cones in 8 ounce cups. Super soft shaved ice! We we're in an old hot gym, and the ice didn't hardly melt at all! Super easy to use and clean! Uses chunck ice, not block. This was perfect for our fundraiser. The size was great, because I could carry it, but it wasn't heavy.
