Update***Well, I’ve now had this press for almost three years and i Use it at least 3-4 hours per week on an average scale… and this Is my second heat press… after my first purchase of a junk swing away heat press combo kit from eBay with a so called lifetime warranty broke off at the shaft mid way through a press which I’m thankful for not being badly hurt by, but when the seller refused to reply to me about the issue or replace/refund my money, I started searching for a new press and found This gem. I was skeptical at first cause of the first press being junk, but needed to do something and so I went ahead and got this one after a lot of shopping. At this point, it’s starting to get older and there Are more options to choose from with upgraded features but I am gonna hold off until something happens with this one before buying a new one just because it heats up faster or has an auto press function. I have a few small complaints after having this for three years but still very happy with it. First off I can’t tell you how many scars I have on my hands from burning myself because this does not have a slide out plate. When I place the garment on the the mat I’m always reaching up to situate the top so it isn’t crooked and to Set my measurement tool and it Never fails, I always hit the top heat plate with my hands and of course, I have at least ten heat gloves but wouldn’t think to wear one ever til after I burn myself. But, it’s a labor of love and I Must love getting burnt and have Sore hands.I mostly use mine for HTV designs as I don’t really have many requests for sublimation designs but have used it with sublimation many times and usually crank it up to about 400 degrees Fahrenheit and press Maximum pressure for about 45-60 seconds for most stuff that’s sublimation. But I’ve seen that sublimation prints tend to fade even on 100% poly and have Used the cotton spray but still don’t care for it as much as vinyl. Vinyl seems to last longer and look Crisp and cleaner. I’ve had success with sublimation but just prefer working with vinyl mostly. Sublimation has limits and even though you can still work around and sublimate on dark colors with use of other materials and can Use sublimation coating spray for cottons and whatnot, otherwise you’re pretty much limited to grays and whites Which I don’t usually do well with myself. Somehow something always seems to get on it and it Looks messy for me. Maybe I need to clean my platen and throw Our old Teflon sheets that might have stains or dark vinyl shadows. My padding is getting out of place and shifting After 3 years but still works for me. I have been needing to get a new cloth cover for my padding to replace the red one that came with it cause it’s now got a small hole in the middle and is Stained from pressing a couple designs of black vinyl that were cheap and transferred An outline to the cloth cover. The other thing that drives my husband nuts is the sound it makes when prying up to release the press and it sometimes will shake the whole place if it’s set to high pressure. It’s almost like it sticks and you Gotta have some arm strength to get it to release. I keep thinking it is going to just break off one of these times but hasn’t yet and keeps on going. So overall, soon I’m sure it’ll be time to invest in something a lil newer and maybe an auto press if I can find one that’s right and right price that heats up a bit faster than this does, which takes about five min maybe 7-8 min to reach 350 but I’m content and am Very happy with the results and consistency from this machine. I would buy from this brand again definitely! What a great buy this turned out to be.

This is one of the best heat presses I’ve ever used the heat settings are really accurate and love how well the locking mechanism works and very accurate pressure for my shirts

Out of the box, it was quick to preheat: about 7-10 mins. As instructed, I did a preheat about 3 times before using. Very consistent. Do be careful when pulling the top plate open with the handle when on firm tension. It does stick a bit but super sturdy. A great heat press for beginners and good value.

I bought a lot of items to start making shirts and sweaters. Unfortunately, one of my packages was stolen but this one came a couple days later. It is HEAVY! be careful! I had some HTV from my Silhouette Cameo 4 bundle I bought (12"x6") and tried a few cuts with it and used this machine to head it.. AMAZING! well worth! Just make sure you have the space. The cons: I cannot bolt it down. So if I have heavy pressure on the machine, trying to bring the arm back up, I have to yank it hard to get it to release. even medium pressure does as well. I will be adding small brackets to the outer sides to keep it secure. that is my only complaint.

I had a swing arm heat press before this and hated how much room it took up, this takes up so much less room I love it. I think the calm shell design is so much better. The bed doesn't pull out that far, but it pulls out enough. It heats up well and gets super hot, it just might take a little while. I use this for shirts and quilting mostly and so far so good.

Replaced my side swing press with this one and so far I’m loving it. This thing is solid metal weighing around 50 pounds. Comes fully assembled so no guessing on where bolts go. Heating is even and fast. Temp and time are very easy to set. Has an automatic timer that activates as soon as you close it. Only very minor downside is the cord length. Could use an extra 6 inches or so.

The press is a good size and it heats quickly. Definitely some adjustment from the swing away style press I had previously. You have to be careful when putting a shirt all the way to the top as to not burn yourself. All my other presses have a constant beep to let you know the press was on and at temperature. This press does NOT beep when it reaches temperature and doesn’t have that reminder beep. It’s very easy to be caught up in work and forget to switch it off since there’s no beep. The tension knob can be a little hard at times. Overall it gets the job done.

Edited to add:A couple weeks later, colorsub emailed me back and agreed to send a new press after I sent a 20 minute video showing their faulty equipment. Have had it about a month and it is very nice, now that it is working as it should.Looks really nice out the box. I read the instruction booklet throughly before plugging in. I should mention I am not a rookie in the sublimation world.. but this press is junk. You cannot tell if it is in C or F. To set, again, you don’t know if you’re setting in C or F. The press has been plugged in for about 40 minutes now, sometimes it takes the press a minute to regulate and the temperature just keeps climbing and at 570 I shut it off and unplugged it for fear that it will start a fire after hearing my smoke alarm. I’ve contacted the company to no avail.. no one has contacted me back. I’ll be sending the press back and will never use this company again!

Well I waited a bit before doing my review as I wanted to use the press a few times. First it came fast and on time. The press was new and not damaged all in good working order. The press dose take some time to heat up to temp so turn it on and wait about ten minutes. The temp and time setting is a little bit to get use to but what is not. The press is big and beefy strong constriction. This press how ever has no feet on the bottom just angle iron so if it’s going on a table you may want to invest in a shop mat to go under it so it’s not scratching surfaces. The press dose come up to temp and I haven’t found any cold spots so it’s good to go. If you are just starting out as I am it’s a great starter press to get you going. I highly recommend this press for the starter budget. We are very happy with it and hope to get lots of pressing out of it.

This heat press is AMAZING! Game changer! It is solid, heavy duty, distributes heat evenly and has made my job a LOT easier. It comes as one piece and it was very easy to figure out how to use.I ordered a "more popular" "Amazon favorite " brand before this one only because it had more reviews. Big mistake.I opened the other brand and the temperature box was plastic and separate from the heat press. It felt like junk, I immediately repackaged it and sent it back.I had to lug it to Kohl's, 20 miles away for a free drop off or pay almost $30 to drop it off at a ups store. Totally regret that.Anyway,I highly recommend this press, I love it and I hope you will too.
