The Old Candle Barn in located in Intercouse PA, nestled in the heart of Amish Country. Local Craftsmen have been pouring and dipping candles the Old Fashioned way for over 40 years. The Old Candle Barn started out in John and Fannie Beiler's basement during the late 1960's. The Candle making business expanded so rapidly they had to move the operation three times before settling in Intercourse where the current building consists of approximately 28,000 Sq. Feet. Here at the Old Candle Barn we like to say "Blow out the lights and turn on the candles".

I keep some of this in an apothecary jar on my desk. When I’m stressed, I’ll take the lid off and the smell helps me wind down.

It smells wonderful, but the scent doesn't last very long, so use just a little at a time. The scent is powerful enough for a little to be enough at a time.

This is my new favorite! Smells real, not like perfume or fragrance oils. I can pick up clove, allspice and a hint of nutmeg. Every time someone walks by, or there is a breeze, the whole room fills with a rich spicy, warm and somehow buttery aroma. I love it.

It's hard to find scents that aren't sickly sweet, too strong, or even nauseating. The cloves & spice remind me of baking Gramma's Norwegian Christmas bread some years ago. Hope you're up for this - we got company coming next month and I'll be making... oh... several more orders from your site before then.-Kat in Arizona

I love the smell of cloves (brings back memories of my grandmother). This potpourri does the trick! I have placed small amounts in bowls around the house, and I love the result. It has been out for about a month and still going strong.

This potpourri had a nice apple smell, but also had a perfumey smell that I didn't like. If they took that out it would be perfect.
