So I have I have searched high and low for a solution to run a very old but capable Apple Cinema Display 24inch. What a display. However connection ease is a must. I have been looking a hubs up to £250 to solve but this did the trick. The old mini display port goes into this. The usb from display goes into this and if that’s not enough power goes to this. One simple usb c cable direct to MacBook Air I have display, sound and power to the MacBook Air! Trust me this isn’t easy to find. The only drawback if it is one is the usb c length to MacBook is to short for full flexibility if you want to conceal this. However purchased female usb c to male usb c allowing enough length for me to either dock the Mac or use it as a secondary display. This is a no brainier if you are trying to do this setup.

While it does provide enough internet to do basic email type functions, it is too slow to do just about anything else. I specifically bought this one because it's supposed to charge your phone while in use.. It doesn't. Or maybe mine is defective. But for $15, i wasn't expecting much so the value is still decent. I have a Samsung galaxy s21+ android. Also, I tried it with my PS5 and it does work to log in and play some games.. But it kept kicking me for low connectivity.

I bought this from Amazon but it was clearly scratched up and also the quality was very subpar at best. Very expensive for what it’s worth and the quality. Connection was not able to be tested due to it not being able to connect.

I got this to connect my phones to my wired internet connection. It didn't work. I got a Belkin adapter and it worked fine, and I have some other adapters that also work fine, so this is not made well.

I have a different connector like this one that allows for my phones maximum upload and download speeds. I had purchased this one for a family member and tested on my phone before i gave it to them and noticed my upload and download speeds were only 3/4 of what they should be also this device was a lot warmer to the touch when in use. I tested this several times and still the same results. Also gave Tech Support 1 star because I do my own Tech Support so I didn't reach out to the maker of the product.

For verification that this product does what it promises, i tested with MacBook Pro (MacOS) and Windows PC: Connected to 1Gbps Ethernet port and connected the power-in port to a USB-PD Power supply where i had a Shelly Plug to measure power consumption.In both cases it worked fine: It powered the Mac/PC with 60W and provided GigE connectivity. Also an additional USB-A stick inserted into it would work in both cases.The device is not USB3 but USB2, so the effective Ethernet throughput (measured with file transfer) is not 1Gbps, but 480Mbps. So i would not choose to use this product with Mac or PC, both of which have USB3.I really had bought the product for the Google Chromecast with Google TV streaming device, for ethrernet connectivity. That has only USB2 (even though it is USB-c), so this adapter would be an ideal fit. Alas, it does not work. It does power the Google device, but the Google device does not recognize it. Neither the Ethernet port works, nor any plugged in flash would be recognized.I can not really prove whether the failure is due to the Google device, or this ethernet adapter, but i would assume it is the Google device having bad software. The chips used in the Google streamer do support USB3, so the fact alone hat it only support USB2 already means there is something fishy. And that seems to extend to it seemingly being very picky in the USB devices it can work with.Too bad.

I bought this to replace a bulkier adapter I use for my s22+. I read a customer review saying that it worked for the Nintendo Switch and was pretty skeptical. I can confirm it does work; an additional perk I wasn't expecting.

Va perfecto para el Firestick de Amazon. Lo utilizo para tener el Firestick por cable conectado al router. ¡¡OJO¡¡ ... Este producto se necesita alimentar (electricidad) por cable USB-C.

Mi serviva un convertitore per collegare il mio ipad pro ad un monitor esterno previo collegamento Displayport. Avevo già acquistato qualcosa di simile in passato, ma l'ipad consumava troppa batteria, perciò ho optato per questo modello con porta di ricarica.- Il dispositivo ha anche una porta usb-c dove è possibile inserire chiavette usb (io non avendone una ho usato con adattatore usb-c/A e l'ipad l'ha letta alla perfezione.- Siccome il cavo di collegamento con l'ipad è molto corto (12 cm), il corpo potrebbe risultare ingombrante se, mia esperienza, che utilizzo l'ipad come monitor 1 per la lettura degli appunti su GoodNotes, e quello grande per trascrivere in bella su IA Writer con tanto di tastiera esterna. Perciò ho fatto una prova con una prolunga usb-c maschio/femmina, provvisto anche di uscita video, che uso solitamente per allungare il cavo di ricarica fornito in dotazione.- L'adattatore scalda leggermente mentre l'ipad è in carica.- Le foto che ho inserito mostrano l'adattatore collegato al cavo di ricarica originale apple e alla prolunga di cui parlavo sopra e alla chiavetta USB, con a sua volta l'adattatore (le ho inserite per evidenziare come possa diventare ingombrane il tutto, e senza prolunga sarà spesso tra le mani).PS. se deciderete di acquistare una prolunga come ho fatto io, controllate bene nelle specifiche che disponga di sorgente video.grazie dell'attenzione.

I had hoped this would allow me to keep the phone charged while using it as a 5G modem but this isnt capable of charging and passing data. had to use a witeless charger to keep the phone charged while using this for data
