Omg squeeeee! I was so excited to get this guy. I made James wear it so I could get a picture. It's soft, has an interior lined pouch for your chalk /chalk ball, and a zippered compartment for your marker (we rate routes) and chalk brush. It has the standard strap. The most important part - it has a large opening and no chance at all of tipping - it was extremely easy to re-chalk while climbing, and it felt very secure against my lower back/butt. I highly recommend it!! It does look a bit traumatized tho.... Like "don't make go with him, save meeee" but I think it's cute

I ordered this adorable chalk bag for my son who is an avid climber. It looks exactly like the listing with its grey and white fluffiness. I got him the racoon although I think the sloth was a close second. The chalk bag worked well for him, but we ended up replacing the waist strap because it's scratchy, not wide enough to add stability, and digs in at the waist. Other than that, the quality of the bag is awesome. All the seams are finished and there are no loose or hanging strings. The eyes and ears are so cute, and the material is soft and fluffy to touch. Due to the obvious quality and adorable look, I find the cost to be fully appropriate.

I like the design. Anything to add a little more personality to your climbing gear is generally a good thing in my opinion. I do think the fur is prone to becoming matted and sticky with regular use though, so take that into consideration.
