I love this quilt! The colors are very "spa" like with the blues and greens. The background color is a light ivory, not white. The reverse side is ivory with random dots in two different shades of blue, green, and yellow. The quilt is plenty heavy for me and I wouldn't have minded if it was a lighter weight. But that's just me - I don't like the weight of a heavy quilt and they are too hard to wash in my 20 year old Maytag washer. But I'd say this is a "medium" weight quilt. The edges are scalloped but just slightly so it doesn't look overly old fashioned. Queen size is plenty long on the sides. Tag says 90" x 92" as advertised on the Amazon description. Measure your bed if you're not sure. It would not really be long enough to use as bedspread on a queen bed if your intent was to make the bed with regular pillows tucked in. I bought the two pillow shams as well. I have a sleigh bed so I probably won't buy the striped bedskirt even though I like the look of the two fabrics together. The colors in this quilt and the paisley pattern are absolutely beautiful.

Beautiful quilt. All stitching is well done. The full/queen size covers my queen bed amply. Very pleased with the quality and price.

I am redecorating my master bedroom and ordered this quilt. I put it with a white eyelet bedskirt. It is very pretty. f I painted in the walls Benjamin Moore Green Wave. It is really beautiful together. You will be very happy with the results. I have not washed but noticed no smell at all. Also if you don't order the pillows that come with it, Home Goods has many pillows that match very nicely.

I love this new quilt. It's on the thin side, but as I plan to use it in the warm weather, that's not an issue. As others mentioned, it's not quite as vibrant as in the photo, but it's perfect in my opinion. The back side is a small size, rounded edge diamond pattern (if that makes any sense) with the same colors as the face.Although it said it was prewashed, I still washed it as I am sensitive to dyes, plus it had that "new" smell that I'm not fond of. I used a couple of cups of white vinegar with the detergent, which really deodorizes laundry. The vinegar smell rinses out, so it's a great laundry tool.It's drying on the front porch right now (line dry only), so I don't know if it shrank any. Hopefully not since it was prewashed. It held the color fine, so that's promising.
