I got one of these almost 4 years ago when I purchased my new couch. The scratcher was destroyed, but my couch still looks brand new under it! I just bought a new one, and will continue to buy these. They’re amazing!

My cats love this. I bought one 3 years ago and it's held up well until recently it started shredding up more (as expected). I'm glad how long these last.

This has been perfect to save my new sofa from the “paws and claws “ damage from my cats. They love scratching on the sisal material!Just the right size and easy to install.

As a customer who has recently purchased the Cat Scratch Couch Sofa Protector with Natural Sisal, I have mixed feelings about its effectiveness and practicality. While it has its advantages, there are certain limitations that potential buyers should be aware of.One of the main drawbacks I encountered was that this product is not suitable for every sofa. The extra fabric provided needs to be carefully tucked in between the cushion and the armrest, which requires a space to tack it in place. Unfortunately, my sofa did not have the necessary gap, so I had to find an alternative way to secure the protector. This extra step can be inconvenient and may limit the product's compatibility with certain types of furniture.Additionally, the stripe that goes on the bottom of the couch is excessively long. Although it offers flexibility in terms of placement, it can be a bit of a challenge to find a creative way to utilize it effectively. While I appreciate the opportunity for customization, it would have been more convenient if the length of the stripe was better suited to a wider range of sofas.On the positive side, the Cat Scratch Couch Sofa Protector does serve its primary purpose of protecting furniture from cat scratches. The natural sisal material used is durable and has proven effective in deterring my furry friend from scratching the couch. It has helped prevent further damage to my upholstery and provided a designated area for my cat's scratching needs.Overall, I have mixed feelings about the Cat Scratch Couch Sofa Protector. It offers an effective solution for protecting furniture from cat scratches, but its limitations regarding compatibility with different sofas and the need for creative placement of the long stripe can be a hassle. If you have the appropriate space and are willing to invest some effort into making it work, it can be a useful product. However, if you're looking for a more straightforward and universally adaptable option, you may want to explore other alternatives in the market.

It seems well-made with a large, thick sisal area for the cats to get their claws into. It was easy to install and covers the tearing up of an arm-rest on an easy-chair by our cats. Unfortunately up till now they have completely ignored the sisal and simply found other furniture to ravage. Well, at least it covers the damage...

Not happy and actually donated it to local humane society as she wouldn't go near it. Too stiff, not rope but more like a plastic mat, and not easily attached to sofa. Velcro straps didn't make sense on their placement. Would not recommend. Sorry.
