Alternate use for this product. Keeps my wall-hugger chair from gouging the wall and slides without any wall damage.

This item works ! Easy to cut to fit. Sticks secure to the fabric furniture & color matches well.** Use a small piece of scotch tape on corner to start an easier "peel-off".

One of our cats kept scratching the back of our chairs. We purchased this to cling to the back and the cat stopped scratching completely. The color matched perfectly and was high quality. Would definitely recommend if you are having problems with your cat scratching your furniture.

0 stars. The video shows the foil has edges extending past the mat itself for easy tearing but that is absolutely not true. DONT BUY THIS PRODUCT. The foil doesn't come off the adhesive and it only tears the adhesive from the material itself with the foil never showing any evidence of existing. There are "Open" stickers that are just stick on top of the foil so they just peel off without the foil. Don't be scammed by this product!!Update: I managed to get a tiny piece off hy ripping a hole thru the backing to find the tiniest sliver of where the foil was. It comes off in tiny pieces so you'd have to sit and tear the foil off for a long time before you could even use it. Don't bother with this product.

JUST DON'T DO IT!I put these up in December (see the old post below), and in less than 2 months they were a tattered mess. Decided to pull it down today, to replace, and couldn't believe the mess it made. I couldn't even begin to get the black tape off the wall. WHAT A MESS! (see the pics) I got what I could off, and then, thankfully, had enough of the original purchase to cover it up. Had to come back to read my own review to remember how to get the protective sheet off the adhesive.I like the idea, but this isn't the way to go. If I had any suggestion it would be to find an alternate method, such as tacks.I can't imagine how bad this would be if someone was renting a place, and put these up. Please don't do it.____I haven't had these up long enough to speak to the durability, or even how much my cats are going to like them. However, I can say, for an absoluter fact, that the most ANNOYING thing about them is getting the SUPER thin protective sheet off the glue. And, based on the other low reviews, I'm not the only one. Here's some helpful hints...The measurement guides are on the protection sheet, which is, as I said, VERY thin. Thinner than you think.I found the best way to get the sheet off is to take a piece of duct tape and fold it over a corner, really squeezing it tight, even into the carpeted side, then SLOWLY, very SLOWLY, peel it off, taking the protective film with it.Once you get that mystery solved, it goes up really well, and, so far, is holding nicely.Wish I had bought it in white... if it's available in white.
