I’ll never be a serious astronomer, but it’s perfect to pop outside on a dark summer night to look at Jupiter or Saturn. There’s no setup so it’s easy to use. Just pull it out of the box and put the eyepieces in. It’s a little difficult to find objects in the sky since it’s all manual. But I can reliably see the moons of Jupiter from the high light area where I live. Paired with the free SkyView Lite app and the book “50 Things to See with a Small Telescope” by John A Read, I really enjoy it.

Easily outperformed by my Tasco binocular, a really disappointing product, don't buy it!

It arrived before I thought it would, it was as delivered as described..(not new) but everything was packaged good and not broken when it hit my doorstep..my only concern was that the package was delivered in the original packing box, with no other protection..

I was able to see the moon but with great difficulty. It was hard to focus...it was difficult to catch it in the middle of the focus...but may be because I have never used a telescope before...I only saw the moon. May be I should get some lessons on how to use this telescope. This was a very disappointing experience considering my binoculars (12x50) did a better job! With my binoculars I could clearly see the moon and its craters! I don't want to discourage you, if you know how to use telescopes, go for it! I spent $90, I think it was really expensive for the quality I have experienced...It should cost about may be $60...I cant return it as I was away for sometime and hadn't got a chance to use it before and the time has passed to get a refund...:( I'll get some lessons though and I'll try to use it again, fingers crossed!:)
