These are so well loved this is my second set to give to the hardworking , smart and brave female veterans that I serve with. This is a special way to show appreciation for those female service members who stand out in the service of our country.The first set I received I gave one each to two female veterans that continue to work for the DoD and who value their military experiences and continue to embody the values of honor, courage. and commitment. The veterans that received these were elated!! To be unexpectedly and sincerely recognized for many years of continued service is a great honor. Each of the two women that received them both have almost 30 years of military and civilian service. They are The Examples of Hard Work and Decication.One of this new set will go to a young active duty servicemember who is the epitome of professionalism and who has stood out and is relied on to take a massive workload for a DoD civilian position that could not be hired/filled due to hiring freezes.The second one of this set remains to be seen.PS These devices are made with quality workmanship and highly polished. The backing is scored/precut to accomodate the print/shape of the device.

Sounds silly but sometimes I get to a store that has veteran parking and I park there, because I'm a veteran. And because I'm a woman this gets me stared at. Nobody has said anything yet but I don't want people to think "stolen valor".Anyway, now I can just let my car tell the story. Proudly.This are metal, not plastic. They come with a foam backed adhesive panel that is perforated in the shape of the medallion so it won't scratch the vehicle and there's no foam around the edges of the plaque. They're sturdy and well made.You could use this in places other than your car as well, anyplace you can stick adhesive.Looks great on my black car. Needed this.

My sister is a USAF veteran, and I thought this might be a nice gift for her. It is solid and looks great. The only reason I dropped it to a 4-star rating is because of the double-stick tape. Not that it looks weak, it doesn't, but you have to attach it to the badge yourself. It looks like that might be a major pain to ensure it is aligned properly before sticking it on. I'm sure with a little patience, it will be fine, though. Overall, if you are a woman vet, or you know someone who is, and you'd like to present her with a nice gift, I don't think you can go wrong with this.

I got this because I'm a female veteran myself and I wanted a way to cover up the model logo that had fallen off the back bumper of my car. Sadly, this logo wasn't big enough, so I slapped it on elsewhere, but all the same, it's a great, subtle decoration for my car. The quality seems pretty nice...made pretty much like a factory logo. I do wish the adhesive and logo weren't two seperate pieces. Getting them lined up was a bit tricky, but not difficult. The adhesive itself seems pretty strong (as I found after I realized I'd put mine on a tiny bit crooked and wanted to adjust it.). It's also nice to have a spare, just in case.
