It didn't have all the cords it was supposed to have.I had a similar model and I tried using those cords, but it just didn't work when I got it.

Couldn't get the driver to work with Windows 11. Downloaded the latest driver from Canon website to no avail. Sent it back.

So, I haven’t even had a chance to set up/try out this printer, I just thought it necessary to inform everybody that no data cable comes with this unit. Very strange in my opinion, as it’s one of the things you need to operate the unit, it might be nice to inform people that a separate purchase is necessary. Irritating.

Yea, pick a different printer unless you have that specific usb cable laying around. Its a required usb cable

I was looking for a simple printer that I could hook up to my laptop with a cable. Didn't want to fool around with a wifi connection. I think this printer is capable of linking to devices via wifi but that's not what I wanted. Anyway, it works great. Never any hesitation. I hit print and it prints every time. I can count on it every time. No stress or doubt. I did have to go on the Canon website to download the printer driver to my Macbook Air but that went well once I figured out where to go.
