Player skips and shuts off when playing. Very disappointing.The company trouble shooting page is all the support you can expect. Read it before buying.Buyer beware. 30-day return only so do not give as a gift.

I bought two of these for my twins. My son got the green one and it didn’t work. It skipped constantly or just wouldn’t play. I had bought him brand new cds so i know those weren’t the problem. I ordered a replacement and it did the exact same thing.I ordered the blue one for my daughter and hers worked for about a week and then the head phone connection broke so she can’t use headphones at all. I’m irritated by these products and annoyed i purchased them.

My husband can now listen to the Bible and other cd. He has Parkinson’s and it is affecting his eyesight. Also can not write or draw anymore. This and headphone makes a good day for him. Thanks

I've been looking for a CD player for my elderly father for awhile now, and they are surprisingly hard to find unless you're willing to pay scalper prices on auction sites, as they are considered vintage.The seller quickly replied to my question about whether I could hook a small speaker to this, which was a yes. So I ordered this, along with a speaker, and I'm happy to say that it's a perfect set up for my dad to listen to all his old CDs. This also came with a pair of earbuds that can be used for private listening.This turned out to be such a nice quality little CD player, that I'm considering getting one for myself as well. I tested it, as I don't want my dad to have any problems. All the functions work flawlessly and CD player is easy to use. The sound is great! I tried it out with both earbuds and speakers and had no problems. I feel very comfortable that my dad will enjoy it and get lots of good use out of it.

My eldest wanted something to play her cds on that she could also take in the car. This is fantastic , good quality sound

Though almost all of my media comes from my phone, I have a car that doesn't not have a working CD player: and with an incredible amount of discs accumulated over the years, I wanted and needed a cheap way around this. In comes this portable CD player, a trip back in time to my early teens when no skip CD players were THE thing to have.Quite simply, if you had one before, this recreates what you had. A button/lever pushed right to open the player, a mini display in the front (which tells you how long an entire CD is when putting it in to play - criminally underrated feature), a pause button which literally pauses your listening experience until you decide to come back, going into a sleep mode of sorts while it waits. This really is like going back in time and grabbing a CD player so you could walk, listen to tunes, and not worry about skipping. Only for me, it's basically allowing me to listen to cds in my car via the aux port. And just like my phone, the volume is quite nice when the units volume is turned way up, so my stereo only need be adjusted minimally.Given that the unit requires double AA batteries, and I went with some off brand (not Energizer), my battery experience will vary. But with that oh so nostalgic 3 bar battery in the corner of the display (ie, split in thirds), I'll know when I'm running low.As you can see, I'm still in "simpler times" overload. No this isn't going to suddenly replace my phone as my media player, but at times, when I buy a brand new cd on a Friday (fairly frequently), I need a way to listen when I'm at work and haven't imported the CD yet. Sure I could stream, but I don't wanna. Now when I have this: Inexpensive, useful, and a bringer of nostalgic joy. If for whatever reason you need one of these, do it. $30 is nothing.
