These are an interesting pair of shapewear. The slit at the crotch allows for using the bathroom without pulling these down if you don't plan to wear undies under them. That feature is kinda neat, however I think probably most of us DO wear undies under our shapewear, so this won't be a feature I'll personally be taking advantage of.Same with the hip padding.... very cool concept for anyone looking for a curvier hip area. The pads go from thin on the edges to thicker in the middle, so I do think they would look realistic for anyone who is wanting a fuller hip look. I personally like that they are removable, because I won't be using them.And that leaves me with the basics of shapewear to comment on-- my normal size is a Large, but I ordered these in an XXL based on the reviews, and they fit great. I can get them on somewhat easily, while still feeling the tightness they are meant to provide. The tummy area is a little more stretchy that I think it should be to provide the best smoothing effect, so I have removed a star for that reason (tummy smoothing is only moderate). Also, they are pretty sheer, so keep that in mind.Otherwise, good pair of shapewear, and also good to use as a slip under a sheer skirt.

I like the concept of these but they weren't perfect for me. I got the extra large because my waist was larger than the size chart but my hips were smaller. I figured I could take them in if needed. As it turned out the pants stretch like crazy and the XL was way too big. For reference I am 36 waist, 39 hips 198 pounds and 6 feet tall. I took about 3 inches out of the the hips and waist in the photos by reducing the from and rear crotch seams.Some things I didn't like. The leg length is about 3-1/2 inches longer than the pads and shows under thigh length dresses. The frilly lace on the legs rolled up and was constricting on my thighs making an unnatural compression that didn't smoothly continue the hip. Taking them in at the crotch seam didn't change the legs so the legs at the hem are small. I have a 21 inch thigh. The pads didn't conform to my hips and made ripples that showed thru my dress. There wasn't enough rear end expansion.Things I did like: After I reduced the waist the compression was good and held in my stomach. The pants did make girly hips on me that I don't have naturally. I think if I wore one or two pairs of pantyhose over these it would smooth out the ripples. I would still need to get extra padding for my rear.Overall, these were ok for cosplay or crossdressing to turn boyish hips into girly ones. I would order a size smaller if I bought these again going by the hip measurement and ignoring the waist for the most part.

I chose this item because I wanted to find something to help with slimming my tummy area and I also loved the design of having the crotch area open so that I can go the bathroom a little more easier. I do love the open crotch area and the ease of getting the shapewear on. I don’t like the lace at the bottom and the padding area. (I have more than enough in that area, so the extra is not needed.) The good part is the pads can be removed. I also did feel and see much shaping in the belly area, however, my daughter who is close to the same size as me said she couldn’t breathe when she put the shapewear on without the hip padding. (She doesn’t normally wear shapewear.) It did work great with my butt and hip area, just not the tummy.Overall, I would not purchase this item again but I would probably still recommend to friends and family.

These shapers add a nice roundness that just fills out some outfits better. Easy to slip on and off. The pads are tapered nicely at the edges so they don't show. They flatten the tummy nicely too .

This has a padded butt included, like foam pads in the bottom area, it is strange and feels weird on, the best of the shaper is a bit small for the size chart, I would size up. If you are looking for bottom foam pads then this is your shaper, they are thick foam pads making your bottom look huge! Not the best product.
