These arrived wrapped in cellophane, ready to wear, and easy to slip into a suitcase or purse. The fabric is a stretchy sheer white with two pearls fastened with a silver backing ~2.5-3.0 inches apart. I'm 5'7", dress size 4, with heavier than normal upper arms and these stayed up well. The raw edge fit just under my armpit and the hemmed edge fit a bit loose at my wrist for a gorgeous look with a sleeveless dress, stapless dress, etc. The quality is great- no loose threads and survived the wash in a lingerie bag on Delicate several times. I definitely recommend these for any formal event.
