Brake controller received is exactly the same product as pictured and described in the listing with no surprises, thank you. This is the brake control module found on several Toro Timecutter zero turn mowers. It controls the parking brake electronically and if this fails, since this is also part of the safety system, your mower won't do much of anything. An easy way to test if yours is working or not is to turn the key to the on position, and actuate (center) the control handles of the mower. You should hear the controller actuate when you move the control handles to the "Park" position (outer position). Be sure to eliminate the control bar interlock switches when troubleshooting as well. Verify your part number prior to ordering. I've tried to include pics that will show the number of terminals in the connector plug on the brake controller for comparison to your old one. This seems to be a quality part as compared to the factory original. I can't see any difference between them. Of course with any electronic device the real test will be: "How long does it last? If this one goes out I'll update this review so whenever you're reading this, as of now, the brake controller is still working and 100% A-OK on my Toro Timecutter. It's not a bad job to replace the controller. The little retaining clips for the actuating arms can be frustrating for those with large fingers but it's no more than a minor inconvenience. Find and watch a repair video online and you'll get thru it easily. Anyone with a little mechanical ability and a few hand tools can complete this repair in less than 30 minutes. Good replacement part. A+
