These boots are great I've been wearing them for years I hope many more people discover them and enjoy their fit and comfort and durability.This of course is not Blundstone's fault, they put their boots in very sturdy boxes.I was disappointed that the box was crushed in the shipping process and the packet of leather oil squeezed out.Just a little more care with the shipping and handling would be greatly appreciated.

Boots came fast so that’s good except Amazon doesn’t show the Australian size and so I ordered an US W 8 (Au 5) but the boots that cane are 5.5. The size is ok but they’re stiff and uncomfortable and there is a clear line where the steel is. This is my fifth pair in about 25 years and these last two pairs are not as comfortable as previous pairs. Hoping they break in before the soles explode. After a five minute walk, got a blister above my heel. Very very uncomfortable.

Owned a pair of these shoes for the last 4 years and absolutely love them. Wore them out and went into my local store to find a replacement. I was shocked to find that they have changed the leather on these shoes. It is much stiffer and thicker than my original pair of shoes and felt like I was going to need a very long break-in on these shoes to get them to fit comfortably. At first I thought this was due to my older pair having been worked in, but I didn't remember this being the case for the first pair I bought.I thought maybe this pair was sized incorrectly so exchanged them at another store that carried my size. I noticed that the box was an older style box, and when I tried on the shoes they were just like my old pair. Fit nicely right out of the box. Leather was much more supple and not as thick.Seems to me like Blundstone has done a "redesign" on these shoes and has replaced the older higher quality leather with a cheaper less comfortable leather type.Glad I found a pair of the older style. Love them and hope Blundstone figures this out and fixes this before my new pair needs replacing in another 4 years.
