This is my second pair of Blochs. My first pair was a tie-up style; they always felt a bit too snug around my toes, and the tongue kept creeping to the side. I checked into these slip-ons so I wouldn't have to deal with the skinny ties and roving tongues. Reviews on sizing were mixed, but since my previous pair was 9.5 and snug, I decided to go up another half size to a 10, which is one full size larger than my normal street shoe size. They worked beautifully, roomy toes but not too roomy. Had my first tap class in these shoes last week, and they sound beautiful, feel comfortable and are easy to put and keep on! I would definitely recommend going up one size from your street shoe size.

True to size. Favorite pair of tap shoes I've even had.

I'm a mature dancer and my old slip on Bloch shoes wore out after 15 years so I was looking for a new pair. I tried several pairs from my local dance store but they were all too tight in the toe area. I finally found my old slip on style on Amazon and ordered them. They are just as comfortable as my old pair.

I bought these to take an adult tap class so didn’t want to spend a lot of money. They are extremely comfortable did not rub or pinch and because the backs are soft they won’t bug your heel. I went up half a size mainly because I have a wide foot. They are snug to put on but I feel like they will stretch out a bit as they wear in.The other great part is the flex in the sole. You need the flex in tap and they are perfect. They also have a nice tap sound!Would purchase again and recommend to anyone.

I followed the advice of the manufacturer and ordered 1/2 size larger than my street shoes. They fit PERFECTLY and the leather is so soft. The sound of the taps are terrific, and they are great to dance in. I am a mature woman, so I have a hard time finding the perfect shoe. These have excellent support, are super flexible, and feel very secure. I had previously ordered a pair from another manufacturer that said they were "true to size," but they hurt my big toes, so I had to return them. I'm glad I switched to the Bloch. They are worth the few extra dollars!

I bought these tap shoes to replace my cheaper-no name- I ever heard- of brand. I stayed with the slip-on style as I don't wanna fiddle around with laces.I do like the flex sole. The shoe is comfortable and the taps are way better sounding than my cheapo pair. Way better!!!!!!I added insoles to my shoes and they still fit comforably... They are perfectly fine without adding the insole, but my feet appreciate the extra cushion. I have calluses in same area on both feet.Size: I ordered my normal street shoe size of 5.5I tap at home about 10 hours a week using videos as my teachers. The last time I tapped in a class was probably 1976 or 1977.Happy Tapping!

My tap shoes just arrived and I LOVE them. I wear generally a size 10 shoe and because of the reviews, ordered a 10 and a 10.5. Although a tad hard to slip my foot in at first (hey, they are new!) once I got my feet in, there is plenty of room in the toe box and they are super comfortable in the size 10. I’m taking tap lessons this week after 40 years of not doing it and found the tie up shoes that were available locally to be really unattractive. These are very cool and sleek especially with my size foot. They exceeded my expectations.

These tap shoes are AMAZING. I can't say enough good things about them. They are insanely comfortable, they fit like a glove, and the sound is great. I read all the reviews where the majority people said they went half a size up from their street shoe and the fit was perfect, and then a few people said they just ordered their street shoe size and they fit perfect. So, because I normally wear between a 6.5 and 7 in a street shoe, I decided to go with a size 7 in these instead of 7.5 and they fit absolutely perfectly. I love them. If you're on the fence about these, get them!
