Bought it, came, broke when i put it in, got the replacement 2 MONTHS AFTER RETURNING THE PRODUCT, broke again... waste of money, waste of my time trying to put it in.

I wouldn’t buy any parts received first switch defective replacement only worked for three times than came apart like first one I received center plunger sprung out at night being dark and part being black can’t recieve refund due to not being able find switch to make it complete good note found cheaper one that’s lifetime guaranteed

unfortunately when plugging this into the factory plug the pin popped out and now is broken. Never able to use it broke while installing.

Bought this to replace the stock unit in my '01 Wrangler that was missing the plunger. Got the old unit out fine, but this unit refused to go into the hole. Turns out the clips around the shaft are slightly thicker in diameter and have less taper. Fought with it for 10 whole minutes trying to get it in and finally gave up. Ended up taking the plunger out and using it in the stock unit without issue.If you have a base, this could work. If you don't, be ready to get out the sheet metal drill to get it to fit.
