I must say that there is no indication that these are BK brand. They seem like Chinese knockoffs. The quality is mediocre at best. For the money I was expecting something much much better. Barely worth half of what I paid.

I judge these leads to be of only moderate quality, although they are fine for occasional use. For the price they are about what I would expect them to be. (NOTE: What follows has no bearing on my rating of these leads, but is simply a cautionary tale for others.) Due to an error ON MY PART, they will probably spend their lives in a drawer somewhere. When I placed an order for the B&K 879B, I foolishly trusted Amazon's "bought with", and ordered the meter with the case and these SMD leads. Later I was on B&K's site and found that the recommended B&K SMD leads were not the TL-8, but the much nicer TL8SM. The TL8SM supports the third "guard" connection, shielding the test leads. Since lead interaction is a problem in these type of measurements, this is a useful feature.I looked for the TL8SM here, and found a couple of third party sellers, but they wanted more than suggested retail for them, and they didn't even seem to be sellers who were oriented to this sort of item, unless one likes to work on electronics while camped in the wilderness. Expensive and sketchy was not an appealing combination. Fortunately one of the big name (and very "mousey" [ahem] ;) electronics houses had them at a much better price (35 vs 50), and from that source I know they aren't used, broken, knock-off, whatever. So, bottom line, the TL-8 seems okay for the money. I just ordered the TL8SM, so I can't comment too much on it, but I definitely prefer it on the basis of the guard lead alone. I'll place a review under one of the TL8SM listings when I have it in hand and can evaluate it.

These work great with my Fluke meters. They work well for testing SMD resistors and capacitors as small as 0403.The reason for only 4 stars is the approximately 1 ohm resistance in the leads. The cheape Chinese ones that I got have half of that.

Received these probes and they are the best. I do a lot of in circuit work and on parts testing as well and they worked as made to order...Thumbs up!!!!

There OK but could be better. The problem is if you squeeze just a bit too tight the tweezer twist and slip off the object you're trying to test. it's a somewhat frustrating.
