Electronics stopped working after 1 day. Had to break it open.

The fingerprint biometrics worked once but the digit dial works everytime so I still give it a 4

Item works great. The fingerprint reader seems to work very good once registered. The number pad is the same. Works every time once registered. The case is made of steel and is on the heavy side. I have a different handgun safe and it is significantly lighter but also triple the cost. The safe runs on 3 x AAA batteries so keep the keys handy for when the power runs down. Overall, I'd say this safe is a good value. If you are going to do a lot of travel with the safe spend the extra money and get something lighter.

This is a really good quality solid safe. I wasn't sure what to expect with the low price, but it was obvious as soon as I took it out of the box that it wasn't cheaply made. I like that there are 3 options for unlocking it. The little light inside is nice, too. I did have a small issue once, but the company was extremely easy to work with and quickly fixed the issue. I would definitely purchase from them again.

This gun safe is sturdy and a perfect fit for my needs. It comes with 2 keys and the ability to mount to a secure surface. On top of the safe being just what I needed, the customer service went above and beyond when I emailed the company at 2AM to tell the that I accidentally locked BOTH keys in the case (while they were still connected on the same ring). To my surprise, "Adam" responded almost immediately. All he needed was the key code on the lock portion of the case and told me he would duplicate the keys and mail them to me for free!!! Within a few days, I received 2 more keys via FeDex AND a gun cleaning kit as a "gift". The cleaning kit was encased in a nice zippered black pouch with several brushes and cleaning pads. I couldn't ask for better service as I did NOT expect the key replacement to be complimentary. I am so pleased that I plan to purchase another case for my husband. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

When I bought this safe, it didn’t have any reviews yet, but I trusted this brand because I bought another safe from this brand before and it was very well made. So it turns out to be a good buy.The safe is solidly built with quality finish. The size is about a large dictionary. It is thick enough to hold a G19 with a holster, but not too thick to make it hard to grab with one hand. The locking mechanism is very reliable. I have tried the key, combo and finger print over 100 times and the safe opens every time without a failure. There are a couple things the menu did not mention. You can press and hold the “1” key for 3 seconds to turn on and off the silence function to make the keypad silent. Also, the menu didn’t say how many fingerprints you can store. Their customer support told me that you can store 20. I tried with all my 10 fingers and 1 toe. They all worked.The design that I liked the most is that after you unlock the safe, it will pop open a crack for you to grab the lid to open and when you lift up the lid, it holds up. I had another similar safe from a different brand that does not pop open or hold open the lid, which makes it very difficult to use when you are driving with one hand on the steering wheel and eyes on the road.What this product can use some improvement is the instruction on how to register the fingerprints. Below is the instruction I wrote for fellow customers:1. With the safe open, use the screw driver provided to stick into the tiny hold to press and hold the RESET button for three seconds until all keypad's keys (1-4) light up once. You will then hear one beep and the fingerprint scanner will light up Blue. Now let go of the reset button and place your finger on the center of the fingerprint scanner for the 1st of the 3 total scans. If you wait too long, you will hear 4 beeps and the blue light on the fingerprint scanner will go off. You will then have to start over the process from the beginning of step #1.2. While your finger is on the scanner with good surface contact, the scanner's light turns green. Lift your finger immediately. This completes the first scan. After you lift up your finger from the scanner, the scanner's light turns blue again. Without touching any other keys or pressing the reset button, press the same finger back onto the scanner again. Lift it up again after the scanner light turns green again. This completes the second scan. Press your finger back onto the scanner a third time again. This time you will hear double beeps. This confirms the successful registration of your fingerprint.3. If you press your finger on the scanner for too long, you will hear 4 beeps, which indicate an operational error. You will need to do it over from step #1. Make sure not to press the reset button in between the 3 scans. The reset button is only to be pressed once at the beginning of the process. If the 1-4 keys keep blinking with non-stop beeping sounds, you can take out the battery to restart the process.Overall, it is a very good value and is a well designed and reliable product.

The fingerprint reader is a feature I love. I have had no issues with it reading my prints correctly. It's fast and accurate and stores my wife's prints as well.Another feature I appreciate is the 4 button combo in case the print reader gets wonky for whatever reason if ever. It's a nice backup feature.It's entirely padded top and bottom on the inside with a nice LED light on the inside.It does come with hardware to permanently attach this to an object or it also comes with a cable to attach it to what you want if that's what you need.I also own a SentrySafe which is so heavy. This unit is much lighter and better in my opinion which allows me to bring it with me or put it in another room.Hands down, I really like it!
