Bill Buchanan makes notably the best brushes. I have used these horse hair brushes for 35 years for the highest results. The tip was compromised on this particular brush for a unique reason. But, it may be trimmed. Please contact me to discuss.

I received it in a barter with Bill. This brush does not have the bouncing spring as most such brushes now a days so you can split it or bend it to any shape as you want. You can find a five-minute landscape painting demo I did on Youtube with is brush. It is that kind of brush that you want to get your fingers dirt and paint! I'd highly recommend it to professional sumi-e artists! Thank Bill for making it available.

This is an excellent brush. The quality is very high, the brush looks great and feels great in my hand. It loads and holds ink well and it is amazing that such a wide range of expressive strokes come out of one brush. After trying one, I have tried 5 different sizes and styles of his brushes and they are all just great!
