This style-tool has been available forever for Shimano bottom brackets. When SRAM Dub hit the market, Park went with the cup-style tool, which is good for using with torque wrenches, but it is also prone to slipping off the bb and marring the surface. I've been using that for a couple years now and finally got fed up and bought this tool. I highly recommend this one!

I have a lot of bike tools, and this is a really nice tool, for $20 it can't be beat! I really like using flat wrenches on bottom brackets as you can keep them 'square' to the bottom bracket much easier than the large sockets. Less change of slipping

I had to do the bottom bracket on my daily ride. I have the Dubs style. First tool I bought was the aluminum version. Bottom bracket came loose twice and I bent the aluminum tool twice trying to tighten to spec. I bought this tool and it did the job beautifully.

Tool works great! It is sturdy and durable, and definitely worth the low cost for the home mechanic.I was a bit disappointed that the star shaped hole would not accept a T70 torx bit, nor a 1/2" socket adapter for the purpose of achieving torque recommendations. So I got busy with a round file and voided the warranty along with any possibility of getting a refund.I'm happy, now that it works how I originally expected it would.

It was awfully nice to send me two of these when I only paid for one. A must for the SRAM DUB bottom bracket replacement.Now I will put it away for a few years....
