My first impression of these bags was pretty good, the canvas used feels very tightly woven and is pretty thick. I was able to fill these bags with about 30-40 lbs of plain sand, without the bag feeling like it was going burst.However, All was well until I had to use the drawstring closure, upon a light pull, the drawstring managed to tear its way into the sheathing. At this point I couldn't restore the string's original placement, as I couldn't fish it through the thick semi-stiff canvas of the sheathing. This means if you don't have light hands, you'll most likely end up having to tie the bags eternally like it did, all because the drawstring is far lower in build quality compared to the res of the bag.
