No assembly instructions and many errors in their YouTube video. They seem far more interested in selling than supporting it well. Also, there are no maintenance instructions. I had an issue with the cable after 6 months, and the support person said I should have installed the cable slightly different (but of course there were never any instructions included to guide me initially). Also, support always requires multiple interactions because a) they don't fully read the full email and then ask for information you already provided or b) provide unclear or confusing information that leads to 2-4 additional messages. This company does not understand that "product" includes the physical good as well as company interactions and quality instructions. You will receive an insane volume of marketing emails and text as they are a marketing sales machine. The gym equipment is excellent, but I will not buy more equipment from them until they get their act together. Lastly, I had a $100 gift card that didn't work. They changed websites but didn't think to notify customers that their gift cards would no longer work. Also, if you have a gift card, you can not apply other discounts codes online with a purchase. You'll have to ask for that amount to be refunded.

This is one high quality piece of equipment! Instructions were straightforward, until you get to the pulley wheels part but once you figure it out, it's easy. I have tested it out and it works great for multiple work outs! I have even purchased an attachable dip bar, straight from Bells of Steel. All of their equipment is high quality, I highly recommend this piece of equipment and it does save space and looks professional!

he Bells Cable Tower Squat Stands are an incredible all-in-one choice for a home gym, especially if you have a low ceiling. While I love barbell work, my schedule isn’t always accommodating and the stack loaded cable towers allow big workouts in very little time. This system is great as a squat rack, but you have the added versatility of being able to super set with barbells and each tower simultaneously set for a different exercise. The marketing fails to describe how capable and flexible these things are. For example, Bells doesn’t seem to advertise that if you want to pull down or low row or in any way pull heavy, you can get the double hook bar and use it with the banana adapters to pull up to 420 lbs! An extra pull up bar is a perfect leg hold down or foot support. (Not to mention the leg rollers that I haven’t sprung for yet.). The 2-1 and 1-1 selection opportunities are huge.I strongly prefer doing barbell work in a half rack rather than full. This feels great. While I don’t recommend deviating from the instructions, if you don’t want to screw it to your wall or another rack, mine is rock solid with the back uprights and weight storage installed and loaded up (I’ve got 520 lbs of plates on it). If I were squatting 800lbs or pulling 420lbs on the cable towers I’d screw them down. But I’m not.The instructions are sufficient. These aren’t complicated, and if you aren’t comfortable putting stuff together, home gyms might not be for you. Note: it’ll take more height to assemble than it will occupy as built. My ceiling is only about 81.5” and assembly would have been really difficult if I weren’t doing the squat stand setup with the legs maximally offset. I bolted the top pullup bar in to save height and the bolt heads still scratched the ceiling as I leaned them back into place. Setting them up in less than 81.5” would be hard. The suggestion in the YouTube vid from Bells that you can assemble these in 30 minutes … ha. Each plate is in its own bag, which is nice, but you probably can’t get this stuff out of the boxes and dispose of the boxes in half an hour. Hand tools are plenty, but a little impact is nice. The instructions don’t show this (and the website photos are even incorrect in places) but on the trolleys, you want the bolts facing out, as the heads toward the post allows more motion. It would be even better if they supplied button head screws for those locations that also wouldn’t scratch the powdercoat and would alert you to pay attention to orientation. The packing is great. Everything is individually wrapped and well protected, but they didn’t blow a bunch of $$ on a needlessly fancy “unboxing” experience. Unlike in some older reviews, they have started labeling parts. UPS lost one of the boxes of plates, and Bells dispatched a replacement without much hassle.Bells accessories, including j cups (I selected sandwich), spotter bars, and the seal row seat are nice, especially for the price. I bought shortly before they rolled out the aluminum D handles and paid more for replacements from somebody else. Bells' great prices on accessories REALLY add up. But pay attention. I blew $$ on two extra 2-1 adapters not having noticed they include them. Sure wish I had pocketed that and gotten the new handles or leg rollers or something.I hope Bells will support its 60mmx60mm universe for eternity. The novel size was my biggest concern, not because this isn’t a heavy enough rack, but just because accessories from other vendors are scarce. Bells offers great accessories now and I very much hope that remains true in coming years as the industry does so much with 3x3 racks. Almost nobody (maybe nobody) needs a 3x3 rack, so 60x60 is great as long as parts and toys exist.I’m 5’10” and these are tall enough. They are also some of the only things that fit in my super low basement. But if you are taller and have the space and budget for a taller system, maybe do that. (Insta suggests Bells may have options coming here!)While I might find more room someday, one thing that attracted me is the simplicity and modularity. It wouldn’t take much work to move these to a different room, and the same can’t be said for some needlessly complicated competing products. For the squat stands, other base options would be nice. You don’t need the width with two connected together. It isn’t obnoxious because they are still no wider than a bar even offset, but still. And maybe some legs that extend forward would be good for folks who don’t want to screw them to something or hang a bunch of weight on the back.I didn’t choose Bells because I needed something more affordable than some of the other options. I got this because it was the best thing for my needs, including my space restrictions, at any price, and I’m thrilled that I did.

I had bought similar equipment before but almost always ended up disappointed: too much resistance on pulleys, not sturdy even when anchored,..This one is different. It is very smooth, has more weights plates than I will ever need, extremely tight and sturdy when anchored to the wall. I couldn't be happier with it.The footprint is very small so it can fit anywhere even in tiny rooms. Also I have a rather low ceiling in my basement gym but this machine is only 80 inches high so again, can fit anywhere.Assembly was easy although they could have labeled the bolts better in assembly packet. One advice: unwind the cable so it completely straight and it doesn't twist when you install it.I highly recommend it.Happy workout.

The assembly instructions for this thing absolutely blows. It doesn’t even include all steps necessary to put it together. Then I go to trusty YouTube and try to watch the bells of steep channel instructions and even on there there are mistakes. Such as misquoting which bolt to use where. For instance “bolt #7” only 2 are provided yet I’ve been told to use it at least 3 times. What kind of bs is that?

I absolutely love this piece of equipment. I can do all of my gym cable exercises at home for a reasonable cost.I do wish it was a bit higher to do seated lat pull downs but I still do them sitting on the ground. Works great. It was difficult to put together but worth the effort.Since I bolted it to the ground, I use the wall mounting pieces as foot plates for low rows. but 5/8 rod and add cushions off amazon and you have a cheap and effective thigh restraint for lats.just an awesome piece of equipment

Go with a different company! They have horrible customer service and you'll be lucky if you get all the parts delivered to you. Their email responses appear to come from a bot service, and you will waste your time trying to speak with a customer service representative. As for the materials that came in, don't expect quality. The finish on their material looks like they lack quality control.
