The seams were poorly done and frayed (would have torn once you put them on), cheap material and workmanship!

Quality won't stand for much wear but ok for our Oktoberfest at home. Shirt laces were missing which was annoying

No Pockets! But besides that pretty good. Hat is misshapen and takes some work to fix out of the box.

Runs small a little. Nothing impressive, nothing wrong either. The hat is really of poor quality. The pants are ok and the shirt is good. Would not buy again if I had the option.

Got this in and my boys were hanging out the bottom of the shorts. This may seem like something that should be expected but i'm about 5'6" and I got a large expecting it to be a bit on the big side. To try and get in and out of this getup you have to lift the suspenders, which are stitched into the micro-shorts, over your head because it's so "fitted". Pretty sure they produce a child's large and just call it a large. Overall the quality is exactly what you would expect of a costume you pay this little for. It was thin and cheap, no worries there. If I could have gone out for the night without a "man"eltoe; it would have been just fine for $17. Instead I put together a last ditch option.Summation: It's cheap and that is reflected in the quality and the sparing use of materials. Great inexpensive option for very, very small men. If you're a average size start throwing 'X's in front of the L on the size selector and you may protect your modesty.

I bought the large because i was thinking XL would be to big. Im 6'4 210 and this costume did fit me that well. The two things that didnt fit were the suspenders and the hat. First the hat, I have a rather large head, (7 1/2"), so i kinda expected the hat to not fit right, they never do. But the suspenders, they are prefab suspenders that are not adjustable so if you arent size (___) then they will likely either be too small or too long. Being they were way too small for me and I still wanted to wear them, i went to a local fabric shop and bought some elastic bands and cloth to match the suspenders and sewed them on in order to get a better fit as well as actually acting as suspenders that stretch not just cloth straps. The rest of the costume seemed to fit as expected. Shorts and shirt fit nicely. I always expect that prefab costumes will never fit me right, so given that, the costume functioned as expected and fit as the chart describe, but this review is for someone who may be similar size as me and wanted an opinion on how the costume could fit

It was easy to use and, at less than $24, very reasonably priced. I wore it to a daytime, alcohol-free Oktoberfest celebration at the university where I work at (it's a public university but has no liquor license). The costume was a hit! I actually got surprised looks from people, many of whom complimented me on the outfit. This was all the more appropriate since I was the only one who bothered to wear anything even remotely Bavarian to the event (kind of hard to have an Oktoberfest feeling when everyone's dressed the way they always dress plus there's no beer). Because of this, my picture was taken various times by a photographer for the student-newspaper so I suppose me and the Lederhose will be somewhere on the campus website soon. Anyway, this outfit comes highly recommended, though it is a costume and not something you would take on a serious hike to an Oktoberfest in an Alpine meadow or anything like that. Great for parties!

I expected when I bought this, because it was inexpensive, that it was going to look real cheap, but to my surprise it looks great! We had an octoberfest celebration here in town and everyone kept coming up to me asking where I bought my costume. They were completely shocked when I told them because they thought it was authentic. They only part of the costume that does seem cheap is the hat and the socks, but they worked out fine.

I did hit a couple snags with it. When I first put it on, I accidently ripped one of the suspenders from the shorts. They're sewn in and permanent. It was easy enough to sew it back on and I was much more careful putting it on and off after that. The hat was also very thin and wrinkled, I purchased a 100% wool fedora replace it from Amazon for a great price. Check out "Sakkas 90M Wayne Burnished Buckle Wool Trilby Fedora - Chocolate - L/XL" it goes perfectly with this costume. The socks are basically nylons. Nothing special there. You could go out and purchase some nice long socks, but they worked just fine. The shirt needed ironing as it was very wrinkled. It's a thin nylon shirt with a medieval look/feel to it which can be used with other costumes, so it might come in handy in the future. The shorts and suspenders look great and everyone thought they were real. They definitely are not real, but most people don't know what real lederhosen look like so no problem. Only thing that would be better is if the suspenders were adjustable and detachable. But for this price, you get what you paid for.Overall, good costume.

My buddy and I each got these to wear at our local Oktoberfest this year. Nobody's going to confuse this with the real thing, but if you're not too serious and just looking to increase some drunken antics, this is a must purchase. Try wearing with a regular plaid shirt (we've all got one in our closet) instead of the one it comes with and leave the hat at home or buy a different one online. Seriously, the hat is horrible.

I can't even use this item due to the fact the suspenders are sewn in place and do not stretch or adjust to fit a longer torso. Knowing that I have a long torso, I played it safe and ordered the large based on the sizing chart, even though everything else I fit is a medium. My wife received the "Fetching Fraulein" through the same company, which looks and fits her great! I fear ordering the extra large because the suspenders are the only thing that make this costume useless for me and everything else is too big!
