  • Seat Belt: Equipped with a safety belt, it reduces the risk of tipping over and slipping when the chair rises;safety considerations are necessary
  • Lifting up to 300 lbs: The support system is made of high carbon steel and can hold up to 300lbs; we have tested the strength of the chair over and over again. It remains structurally stable for normal use

  • Important Note: Ensure the chair is securely installed and all locking clips are fully tightened prior to use. This prevents accidental folding or instability during operation

Fantastic item to have for elderly parents.Really helps with floor to standing and standing to floor movement.Has given us much peace of mind knowing we can safely get my mother in law in and out our bathtub with ease.Simple to setup and the chair itself is actually quite lightweight and can be stored easily.

This is one excellent elderly lift chair in my opinion! It is simple to set up and operate using the wired remote control, and it is very stable, solid, and secure. The unit is surprisingly compact and lightweight for its capabilities, and it has no problem at all lifting a person's weight. I like that it has a built in seat belt as well as expansion wings for a larger seating surface area. I think it is a very useful product for this price point, so I would not hesitate to recommend it with five stars all the way!

I got this because I tend to fall down. Seems the older I get the harder it is to get up. I thought this would be helpful in these situations. Unfortunately, it keeps folding up on me. I haven't figured out how it "locks" open so it can actually lift someone off the floor. If it locked open it would definitely be a 5 star. As is, it's basically useless.

This is a very solidly built, sturdy, well designed machine. It has suction cups, big ones, on the bottom of the base to stick to a tub bottom, and the down button, once the seat is down to the floor, makes the back recline. The up button then sits the backrest straight up before making the seat rise, just as I’d want to do if lying back in a bathtub— I’d want to sit straight up first, and then *go* up. I’ve only used it on carpet so far, but I felt safe and secure and not tippy or wobbly at all, and that was without the seatbelt on. If in twenty or thirty years I can’t get up from sitting on the floor, I’ll still be able to take baths using this. It’s brilliant. The hand control feels better built (and simpler, which is nice) than any hospital bed control I’ve ever seen. I’ve spent months of my life in hospitals with both of my parents, so I’ve got the experience to make this statement. My mom was in a wheelchair for a lot of years, and could only shower in a chair for all those years. I did permanent damage to something between my shoulder blades lifting her out of the shower one time. Wet naked people are very hard to hold onto and especially lift, especially when you’re approximately the same size. (I always bundled her in towels. Still hard to hold onto.) Caregivers can do a lot of damage to themselves. And if we’d had this, mom could have taken baths, which she would have really enjoyed. My mom is gone, but my dad has Parkinson’s and is living semi independently and is still able to travel some, so he comes to my house and my sisters house, where are there more risks of falls for him than at his place. He uses a walker now all the time, in theory, but sometimes takes ten or so steps across a room without his walker. In his own residence he nearly always gets away with it successfully. Out and about, disasters can and do happen. Which is to say, I’ve had to get him up from a fall before. He weighs more than I do and is taller than me. If he hadn’t been able to help, I wouldn’t have been able to. It happened once in a hospital and I had to get a sturdy male nurse to help me— I just couldn’t get dad up, because he couldn’t help— and him *trying* to help actually made things more difficult. Limp weight would have been easier than stiff flailing limbs. If dad falls here, I’ll be able to get him up again, by myself— only because of this machine. Just me and my own physical prowess (ha!) definitely couldn’t.Besides my concerns about my dad, I got this because my husband is both significantly larger and significantly older than me, and we live quite a ways from the nearest hospital. Thirty or so years ago, he had a heart attack and I had to get him to the hospital myself. He’s been good since, but the capability of getting him up and into the car and to medical help as quickly as possible is important to me. Eventually, I will probably need to.Sideways transfers are pretty easy. Lifting someone from the floor commonly requires EMS. It won’t for us. I’m confident I can use this device to get anyone not more than twice my weight up to wheelchair level and then transferred over to a wheelchair and then transferred over to a vehicle, all relatively quickly and smoothly. We’re going to practice, too, so we’re both comfortable with it. And my husband is less than twice my weight, so we’re good to go.Assembly was easy, it’s simple to operate, and it does the job it’s supposed to do superlatively. I’m very impressed, very pleased, and very grateful to have this in our home. In an emergency, it could save a life. If it just enables baths for someone who couldn’t take a bath otherwise, it’s of major benefit to quality of life. I can’t recommend this enough. It’s a wonderful machine, and very very well worth the money. I’d expect it to be way more than this if purchased from a durable medical equipment shop. I’m not sure, either, if this could/would count as durable medical equipment— I’d think it would, though I’m not a pro, just a daughter who’s done some navigating of such issues— and some insurance may cover it if doctor ordered. It’s worth looking into.Update: we spent hours today rehearsing, and I’m exhausted. Getting my dead weight husband onto this required a transfer board and a gait belt to haul him backwards into position for lifting. The wheelchair we have doesn’t have arms that go up, so using the transfer board to get him from this to the wheelchair didn’t work easily. I could easily move him from this to an armchair, though. And it turns out that we don’t think there is any way I can get him from any wheelchair up and into any of our vehicles, all trucks and SUVs. That’s a big height difference between wheelchair height and seat height of any of those. So we have a new emergency plan that involves neighbors. I’m strong for my size, and this does get him off the floor, but there are a lot of steps from getting someone off of the floor and into a vehicle. We’re definitely getting a new wheelchair. Rehearse!!I’m still totally impressed with this machine. It’s solid.

This lift chair impressed me with its solid build quality and ease of use. It's not very heavy to move around to various locations where it's needed and since it's battery powered there doesn't need to be an outlet close by in order to use it. It can raise someone up to 300lbs from a seated position to full standing height. This is ideal for those with knee issues or other conditions that make it hard to stand up after sitting. It can be used in the bathroom, to get out of a car seat, to get out of bed, and most any other situation where you want to go from sitting to standing or vice versa. It feels like a solid value for the price.

This is a great lifting chair for those that need assistance. It is simple to use and not too heavy. It has feet to help it stay in place. It can be used in the shower. The controls are simple and easy to see and use. It has good cushioning. The charge lasts a while.
