I'll keep this simple: this could have done without the tongue. All it does is limit the type of feet that will fit comfortably inside this shoe. In terms of comfort it's okay, but the bottom sole could be thicker. Functional shoes? Not quite but I can see you getting away with it at least since it does have what resembles proper laces.

These shoes are great! They are very comfortable and lightweight. The soles are very flexible which aides in their comfort. They look amazing! I love the pattern and color. They are very good quality, and I believe they will last a long time.

I really wasn't sure if my husband would like these shoes or not so I was surprised when he put them on and told me how cool they looked and how comfortable they felt. He's usually a boot or tennis shoe type of guy but he really loves these shoes. He typically wears a 12 but I ordered a 12.5 just in case and I'm glad I did because they would have been too tight otherwise. They're like sock shoes almost, just a little thicker.

These arrived a short time ago and I immediately put them on. They are soft, very flexible and comfortable. Easy to pull on, convenient ab by laces. Soles have good grip on my tile floors. Described as having a wide toe box and that is correct, I am pleased with this, too many shoes are too narrow for my feet. Size TEN seems true to fit US sizes. Nice design. Removable insole allows for use of one of your own choice if you need or want more arch support, the ones in the shoe do not have a lot. I live barefoot 90% of the time so rare for me to like a shoe. Good for boat or deck shoes. Great price for value. Might buy another pair like them.
