When this first arrived, I didn't know what I was even looking at. However, after I finally figured out what it was, it wasn't too difficult to get it attached to my Honeywell mask. It wasn't a perfect fit, but it holds on fine. As far as how it works, it's good. It protects my hair and head from errant sparks and the blazing sun. I wish it extended a little further down my neck, but it's certainly better than nothing. It does make it a little more difficult to operate the mask, but not too bad. The quality is decent. Nothing special, but the price reflects that. All in all, I'm happy with it.

Exactly as described. A budget-friendly choice. Nothing special, but for the price... gets the job done.5 stars for the price, would not recommend at a higher cost, at which point I'd say look for better quality

I like it, it does what it's supposed to do, but the material is a little thin so I work outside and the sun still passes through this material. Also it could be just a couple of inches longer. I'm still happy with it and I'm glad I purchased it.

Not the best for the intended project. The fit and the finish left a lot to be desire din a space where safety is key. Did not really work for the basic purpose so it is not recommended.

To attach this thing you need to push the edge of the helmet in between its plastic corners. It is good idea and should fit most helmets. But execution is bad. Some portion of this plastic band got melted together and some were smashed with something on the factory. The melted part I was able to separate with knife, the smashed part couldnt be fixed - it still holds on the helmet though. The listing description states “durable leather construction” - it is false statement as this hood mainly cotton, partially plastic (the edge seal). That’s problem number uno. Another issue - the size. Circumference of my helmet is much longer than the length of top and bottom of the hood. They are intended to get connected together with velcro. But they ended up about 7” apart on each side. Another, the biggest issue. Not possible to breathe inside once hood is attached. Not only you suffocate inside almost immediately, the condensate on the screen makes it totally impossible to work in it. All in all - I cannot recommend this product. Not well thought through.

I mostly wanted the "dangler" to block light because I had the back part already. You need to position the back so it fold in or bunch up, but once these are in place, they block excess light from reflecting inside your mask and for a bald guy like me, they protect my head too. They stay in place when I lift the hood too.I still sometimes wear a welding hat because the head gear is more comfortable that way, but from a protection perspective this works fine without the hat and offers better protection from sparks.I'm using these on an Esab Savage A40 and they hold onto the edge easily. To open the grip part enough to get it over the lip I opened an inch or so with a flat screwdriver and then slide a 1/16" welding coupon down the length of the attachment. It slipped on easily after that.
