If you need a cute squishy night light for your Littles or even for your own nightstand this is perfect.We've been using it for a while now and it has two on options. One of them is just on so you squeeze it to turn it on and off. But it also has a 20 minute option as well. Where if you turn it on it stays on for 20 minutes and turns itself off. We use this option because usually the little one is asleep by the time it turns off and we don't have to worry about it killing its own battery through the night. Keep in mind running it on this option means that the battery will last weeks before needing a charge.Overall I see no issues with this product, I've had no problems with the light inside flickering or not, it is a very low glow so it's not very bright but that's good for kids going to sleep anyway. Build wise it's solid. I see no problems with it. At the same time my kid isn't exactly playing with it as a toy so I can't say that it won't break if a child is using it as such. The touch works well this is not the first squishy light I have ordered. The first one I ordered was definitely way too sensitive and any vibrations anywhere near it would mess with the light. This one is less sensitive and I do like that. Otherwise it is a warm yellow glow coming through the pink silicone. So like I said, it's a dull warm color light. Overall, I think it is worth the money for the purpose and would recommend it.

With two light modes, a dim and a bright light, it isn't very customisable but they are effective and do well to softly light a room. Super cute design, made from some sort of flexible silicone that makes it super squishy. There is no odour from the material which is a big plus. The batter lasts for a reasonable amount of time, roughly 6 hours of constant use.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:This is so cute and squishy soft. The silicone is soft and easy to keep nice and clean. Very handy for a bedside nightlight. This penguin has a bright white light, however, and not as warm as say the pink axolotl that my other son has. The penguin is a soft grey color with white. Its little feets are too cute. It is adorable though and very useful for bathroom trips as you can just pat it and turn it off/on or dim it. Very simple to charge as you connect by USB-C—though I did find that my multi-cable wouldn’t work as the base has a nook for the charging cable to connect and the multi cable was too long to fit. It comes with its own USB-C cable though and that works just fine. Any single cable will do. Love these and super nice for a snuggly bedside companion and nightlight! It joins the family assortment of axolotl, duck with dangly legs, and panda bear. *Note* Vine reviewers are invited to select products on offer which Amazon then sends for free. Kennen Sie das? Man ist als Erwachsener in der blöden Lage, für einen Kindergeburtstag ein passendes Geschenk zu suchen. Selbst fehlt die Zeit im lokalen Einzelhandel sich umzuschauen und schon landet man bei Amazon.Nun, ich hab hier diese schöne Nachtlampe gefunden und dachte mir: "Das Mädel mag zwar 13 sein, aber warte mal ab, das Ding wird ihr gefallen!" und was war? "Mama, die XY hat vor Freude geschrien und geweint!", mit anderen Worten: "STRIKE!"Kommen wir neben der Erklärung, wieso die Lampe als Geschenk bei der heutigen Jugend nicht falsch ist, mal zum eigentlichen Gegenstand, der Nachtlampe. Die ist aus weichem Silikon. Streicht man über den Axolotidingsda, hat er angefangen anders zu leuchten. Schon ganz lustig, selbst für mich alte Frau :)Das Ding lässt sich dimmen und passt daher nicht nur bei 13 Jährigen Teenagern auf den Nachtisch, sondern auch prima bei Babys.
Wer denkt, dass der Axinachtischlampidingsbums schlecht riecht, weil Chemikalien und so, täuscht sich. Aus der Schachtel, direkt in den Einsatz!

This is a charming companion for a child who needs comforting during the night. My granddaughter loves to have a sleepover at our house, but I have blackout curtains. When she awakens during the night and can’t see, she wants a small light nearby. All that I’ve had so far is a tiny LED flashlight that either gets lost in the covers, or she finds it and turns on its bright light - unfortunately, both of these actions wake me up….that is until we got this cute Axolotl lamp! It is big enough to not get lost, very soft to the touch, a soft pink color with a sweet face, not scary. When you press it, the light comes on. There are three levels of brightness, but none awaken me. It operates quietly. You can set it to either have a 20 minute timer to shut off, or it can remain on. It is rechargeable, too, so no extra batteries to worry about. It only got slightly warm when charging, but I would only use it when it is unplugged. It had no odor when I opened it.This light is especially appropriate for very young children, to probably around 8 years old or so, I would think. I would question giving this to a child who likes to chew things, as there are a few parts that I’m unsure how securely they would withstand the determined chomping of a teething youngster.I recommend!
