LED 3rd Brake Light High Mount Stop Lamp
Our LED third brake light is a quick and easy way to dress up your pickup truck. When lit, the bright LEDs (Light Emitting Diodes) are illuminated, and shine up to ten times brighter than standard light bulbs. The LED third brake light has a durable polycarbonate lens with free form reflector, and available with either the Clear lens or custom Smoked lens.

Clearly not OEM quality, but I wasn't expecting it to be. The plug from the wiring harness wasn't close to matching my original light's and so I had to do a little clipping and splicing, but it works fine now and looks nice....

I broke to original lense trying to remove it to replace the bulb. Not surprising I guess for a 18 year old part exposed to the sun. Time will tell if this light holds up as well but it was easy to install. The plug is basically a less secure bulb configuration that plugs into the oem bulb socket. That makes it easy but it seemed a little too easy to plug and unplug so I wrapped it with electrical tape just in case. The gasket around the light is thicker than the original so I hope it form to the fit and keeps out water. Doesn’t look like it snapped in but it seems to be.

Yo estoy feliz con mi compra de esta tercera luz de freno. Gracias a estas luces le dí un look moderno a mi vieja Toyota 4Runner SR5. Ahí tienen unas cuantas fotos que les dejo para que puedan apreciar como queda esta luz en mi vieja SUV.

Used my plastic trim tool to take the old light fixture out. Plugged in the new light fixture to the light socket. Pushed the bottom fixture first and then the top and that didn't work. So I did the top first and the bottom and that snapped right into place and then I use my soft part of my fist and lightly punched it into place. looks way better than the stock and brighter too....
