Absolute waste of money. The contact point post of condenser was loose in the condenser. Could not get a correct point gap. Called Vendor listed on package (Brand New Engines from Tipton Iowa). They said they couldn’t do anything that I should contact Amazon. Amazon returns instructed me to go through the manufacturer. I contacted them and was told to go through Amazon!!! What a RIP OFF!!! Save yourself some time and disappointment. Buy genuine Briggs and Stratton parts. It’ll save you time by not jumping through Amazon return hoops. I’ve spent over an hour and half trying to get some satisfaction. SHAME ON YOU AMAZON., ARNOLD /MTD, and BRAND NEW ENGINES

Can't beat it for the price. I wasn't sure my problem wasn't the coil, but for that money I could afford to roll the dice. Kit came complete, even though the blister came off the card in shipping. I was pleasantly surprised to find instructions included. Installed everything, put flywheel and recoil back on and gave it a yank. LOTS of pretty blue fire. It was enough to make an old fart me feel clever!

The 50 year old mower had no spark so it was either the condenser or the coil, so with the age more likely the condenser. Cheap fix! Good for another 50 years!
