I purchased one of these and it came without the red corner shelf (to drain oil from filter). Returned it and ordered a second one and it came without the red corner shelf. What a scam!!! Do Not Buy or accept this product.

I ordered this drain pan for doing small oil changes on my motorcycle and it works well for the most part. My only concern is the plastic mesh shelf, that clips on in the corner of the pan, used for allowing the used oil filter to drain/drip in the pan. That part doesn't seem too sturdy and a larger, heavy oil filter may cause it problems and I wouldn't recommend it for larger jobs. Otherwise the pan is great and it has an easy pour spout on the corner of the pan that allows you to pour the dirty oil into another container and take it to be reclaimed at an auto parts store, etc. Overall it was a good buy and I would recommend it.

Good for Transmission oil change.. can quickly see and compare how dirty oil is. also has measurement markings to make it easier to fill back.
