My car started making this metal on metal knocking sound whenever I would drive it and I wasn't sure what it was. My mechanic said it was either this or that and it happened to be the try rod and the ball bearings or whatever was in this box! Now my suv runs awesome!! No more knocking sounds coming from under my car. After a month, I will come back and leave a follow up report on how my car is faring ..But for now, yes I would totally recommend this to my friends and family
