Ready and easy to apply but if you don't add the pins it will peel off entirely within a week or so. I have mine pinned and it's still peeling/ lifting on the edges.

While I haven't got my cat yet but coming shortly, I'm getting prepared. I remember from the one I had as a child, the countless times it would claw and scratch the furniture no matter how many scratching posts you'd have. That being said, I want to protect my new couch mainly so I picked these up.- They attach easily- Stay in place well with tack style pins- While they are clear, you can tell they are on the furniture- Decent coverage per piece, however be strategic when placing them to maximize the effectiveness- Sticks to leather and fabricIt is worth noting, the tack style pins, while effective holding the sheets in place, it feels like they could come loose if pulled too hard so if you cat gets stuck for any reason, they could pose a risk to the cat.I feel these will be effective, however might have to play with the location of them as your cat grows for full protection. Price is fair for what you get and how it will save your furniture!

At first I thought I'd ordered bendable acrylic like sheets. But these are just a thicker one sided sticky see-through style contact paper.Ita sturdy regardless. It functions well protecting the carpet. I stuck it to the carpeted risers and the cat has no left it alone.He initially tried to scratch it but hated the feeling of the plastic and immediately stopped. So it definitely deters scratching.It was super easy to apply. One of the easiest I've used. You dont notice it at all(see pic) and nothing sticks to the outside part so thrilled about that. Of course I forgot to vaccum the step first. Oh well. Plenty of options and attachment pieces with anchors.Pretty good value.

These anti cat scratch sheets are perfectly clear, with a mild adhisive backing. Depeding on the surface you attach them to, you may need to use the twist pins to secure them.They look ok, as good as a sheet of plastic can look, in that they are totally clear and unless the light strikes them, they are more or less invisible.The real test is - do cats learn from them. We have attached them to the new couch my son bought for his new house. The cat had already tried "claiming" it via scratching. With the plastic attached it was hilarious to watch the cat attempt to scratch it. She thought we were not paying attention and went to scratch, and once she tried to dig her claws into the plastic, she recoiled and acted like it was the "worst thing ever" to touch. Great!We have left them on for a week, and so far the cat seems less and less interested in the new couch. She is, of course, scratching the crap out of the old couch downstairs - which is our goal, to redirect her to the places we are OK with her scratching.In my own house, I attached a section to a wooden doorway that our cat scratches on. We have tried stopping her via squirt guns, etc, and we provide her with a large wooden scratching post (That she uses) but we have been unsucessful in stopping her from scratching these two doorways. With the big plastic sheet cut to fit, and stuck on, its nearly invisible. And the cat HATES it now. Where will she decide to scratch next? Who knows, but these also work on doorways.Will my son's cat learn that the new couch is "bad" and we can eventually remove these? Will my cat stop scratching our door permanently? Time will tell. But that is more of a review of how smart cats are, and nothing to do with the product. The product works as it says.Overall, these are a good quality, stick reasonably well (especially to smooth/less fuzzy surfaces) and work well as a protector or (we hope) a training / redirection aid. The instructions were clear, and the sheets were easy to cut and bend as needed.These anti scratch furniture protectors are a good value, cheaper than in stores, and contain more overall sheets to protect more things (or replace as needed) for the price.

These are big sheets of sticky back (peel and stick), clear vinyl-type product. There is a scraper to smooth them onto your surfaces, and spiral furniture pins to use with plush/padded furniture. NOT for leather or leather like things. I got these to try on my painted indoor bedroom door. My cat scratches to be let in... lol. I'm not sure if the sticky will pull the paint off the door, but the door is already scratched (and I own my house) so that doesn't matter to me. So far, so good - this week has been fine. The sheets have square corners, not rounded. The material can be easily cut to size. The vinyl is thicker than the clear sticky back film you can get on a roll. I don't have plush furniture. Now that I've found these panels, I'm thinking about finding a couch.... that would be nice!

These are life saving for our furniture. Our cats still try to scratch but can’t scratch through the plastic. They come with little fasteners which are a must because it really helps keep them in place otherwise our cats can remove the plastic after a few attempts.

It took all of a minute to put in and was super easy, it's a bit thicker than I anticipated, but I think that's good. It's a decent sized sheet too which surprised me. Too early to tell if my cats will be deterred but overall decent.

I installed this on the couch. It was really easy to use. I recommend great quality scissors for the best use. This effectively stopped my cats from scratching the couch, YAY! Works great.

My cat is notorious for scratching at all the furniture in the house, despite the fact that she has about a dozen scratch posts and pads. Putting these pieces on my couch has stopped my cat from scratching and damaging furniture. It's been a godsend!

These seem to work very well and we're easy to install. I was worried about my cat scratching the small spaces that I left open but he has not seemed to do that quite yet. I did purchase more just in case. The plastic is pretty obvious but it still works well and does it's job. I put a cover over the plastic covers to make my chair look a little more esthetically pleasing. Easy to install and does what it says.
