Blue Light Explained
Macular Degeneration Blue light (HEV) penetrates all the way to your retina and has been shown that too much exposure to blue light can damage light sensitive cells in the retina. This causes changes that are similar to those of macular degeneration, which can lead to permanent vision loss. Many eye care professionals have concerns that the blue light exposure from digital screens might increase a person's risk of macular degeneration later in life.
Digital Eye Fatigue Short wavelength, high energy blue light scatters more easily than other visible light and makes it not as easily focused. When you're looking at your digital screen that emit significant amounts of blue light, this unfocused visual light reduces contrast and can contribute to digital eye strain.
Sleep Disruption Blue light is very important in regulating circadian rhythm - your body's natural wakefulness and sleep cycle. Exposure to blue light during daytime hours helps maintain a healthful circadian rhythm. But too much blue light late at night can disrupt this cycle, causing sleepless nights and daytime fatigue. People who use their electronic devices before bed have a harder time falling and staying asleep.
Why Not Block All Blue Light?
It's well documented that some blue light exposure is essential for good health. Research has shown that high-energy visible light boosts alertness, helps memory and cognitive function and elevates mood.
In fact, something called light therapy is used to treat seasonal affective disorder (SAD) โ a type of depression that's related to changes in seasons, with symptoms usually beginning in the fall and continuing through winter. The light sources for this therapy emit bright white light that contains a significant amount of HEV blue light rays.

Does not protect eyes. It is a clear plastic that sticks to the screen. I used all three. Waste of money.

The initial installation was tricky to get rid of all air bubbles as everyone said. Then I realized it was because of the dust and lint particles in the air that would fall onto the computer screen even if I just wiped the screen before the installation according to the instructions. So I tried a different method-- with the protector lined up on one side edge with its backing still on, I wiped a portion of the computer screen and peeled off the protector backing to line up at the same time. Slowly working through one portion at a time, I was able to apply the protector onto the screen without any dust particles that would otherwise prevent a smooth screen contact. As long as there isn't any dust or lint particles, you'll be able to slowly move the air bubbles out to the edges with the squeegee to release the air. Hope this tip is helpful to you to get a bubble-free screen!This fits perfectly for my HP Envy 17.3 laptop. Love the slightly matte finish, no glare, and doesn't interfere with the display or touchscreen.

It is anti glare and my eyes did feel more comfortable after install this on my thinkpad P72's 4K screen which is made by AUO. It seems better than the one made by FORITO, because when light is in front of it, it does not reflect blue light and made the screen unreadable like FORITO does. However, like FORITO, the width of it is 380mm not 382mm, so it is actually 2mm too narrow for the 17.3 screen. I do hope the factory can see this and make it 2mm wider so that it can really perfectly fit 17.3 screen.

Filtering of blue light is good. I tested it at eye glass shop. but installing is not easy, but its good to have 3 packs to retry again. I could not get rid of all the bubbles, but I can live with it, and i am happy that I am protecting my eyes from harmful blue light.

I liked the idea that this screen would cut down on glare....but it is difficult to install. No matter how hard I tried, I had bubbles....obvious bubbles. I work with vinyl, so I am used to applying things like this....but this was more difficult.

I love this product-took 15 min to install. I cut with scissors to fit laptop screen-cleaned screen and used dust remover tape. Just make sure screen is free from dust or bubbles appear. I worked from middle of screen protector,with squeegee,going right to left-light pressure and working up and down,going sideways only to clear bubbles that form. if bubbles still there, redo by pulling back and use dust tape on laptop screen,to blot where bubble is-(usually dust particle) If not,then air bubble needs to be pushed using pressure with squeegee, to sides of protector screen. Tedious work but works great. Thanks EZ Pro-helps eye strain a lot-no more burn,itch,or watery eyes. FYI Issues with bluelight damage are surfacing everywhere and I'm glad companies are making protective screens that minimize the effects of what might happen with all the electronic devices I use. The protection is sure worth the money in my mind!

does the job! Of course i wish i was a bit better at applying these things as i always end up with a couple air bubbles or dust specs in the final application,, but that is due to user error :p

The glossy does not bother me, but it is too glossy for my wife. It was easy to install and my eyes do not get as tired as they did before.
