I'm blown away by the quality of the product! It arrived in a box, wrapped in thick protective foams. There's zero chance of damage during shipment. It feels like just another OE pump, the weight, the size, the construction material, and every small components including the screws are just like what you would expect from factory parts. All this for a fraction of the OE price, i.e. less than $100 here vs. $400 or more for OE parts.Granted, I've yet to install it and time will tell how long it will last. But based on the quality, I feel confident it will last for a while. Even if it fails prematurely in a few years, I would DIY install it again--the installation is relatively straightforward--with another purchase given the price.Again, unbelievable premium quality for a fraction of OE price!

Very good value and much less than factory OEM pricing. Literally took minutes to swap out the failed pump and we were back on the road with a great ride. Sprayed it down with rust prevention coating so it should last longer than the factory one. Great quality and runs smoothly.

Only subtracting one star of 5 because I can't speak for its operation in controlling a car's suspension. My bad, really.The construction looks very solid, just like pictures of the OEM product. It has a large DC motor and cast metal pump housing with fins.I will permanently mount this pump on a 5 gallon air tank for portable / on-board air applications. I have tested it hooked up that way (not permanently mounted yet) and it seems like running it at 50% (5 minutes on, 5 minutes off) is very safe for it. For this application, I love it. It's surprisingly quiet for a reciprocating, oilless pump.Again, sorry that I can't judge in its intended application, but it seems very tough so far. Most of the in-vehicle failures I've seen started with a cracked or disconnected inlet hose, letting dirt into the pump.

I replaced the air suspension compressor on my 2010 Mercedes GL450 with this pump, and it works perfectly. I picked it up to proactively replace the air pump in my ML550. My vehicle is almost 20 years old and has over 150,000 miles on it. The OEM one lasted me about 80,000 miles, so I figured I was about due for a replacement. I'd rather be proactive than scramble to fix an issue later.
