1yr update: Changing to one star considering the product does not hold up and customer service will only support for 6 months. While I had this for a year it broke the 2nd week of use. Ropes are poor quality and the poles started to come apart. I do not recommend this product unless you want to buy a new one for every vacation. If you are ok with one week of use the product is great.Got to say I was surprised. We normally bring a heavy pop-up canopy, but I was tired of hauling it to the beach. Decided to give this product a try and got to say we love it! No more bulky canopy. It does take a little practice getting it setup where it will survive wind, but once you do it is good to go. Trick at the beach is to use the sandbags and the anchors. Do that and it will stay up all day!!

This canopy did its job nothing outstanding. It hung very low once set up maybe because I had to drive the screw stakes it came with deep into the sand to keep it from blowing down. Would have liked for it to come with 4 poles instead of 2. I noticed some of the pictures posted showed 4 poles maybe it comes with the bigger canopy however mine only came with 2 poles.

We can't seem to figure out how to keep this from sinking in the middle. There were no instructions but we have attempted several times to use this and every time the top sags in the middle to the point of not being able to walk under. It is extremely light weight and easy to carry. I would LOVE this if we could figure it ou!

Tip!!!! Fill the “anchor” bags as full as you can for best setup.This shade is perfect! All fits in a small bag, once you get to the beach, lay it out, fill the bags with sand (as much as will fit and wet sand works better for weight). Then set the sticks and find the best position to have the wind help you open the “sail” and give you cover. It takes a few repositioning attempts to find the perfect set and then you’re “covered”. Two beach towels fit great under it. Super easy to break down. Shake the sand off and pack it in the bag for easy storage.

I was impressed with how well this canopy held up on two recent trips to the beach under windy conditions with gusts up to 14-17 mph. I also tried an alternate set up with the poles mounted on opposite corners which remained stable in the wind as well (see photo). The pole anchors which screw into the ground are solid and are the ONLY way to keep the poles secure in sand (most other canopies on Amazon don't come with these). The Lycra material has enough give and stretch to keep the wind from dislodging the sandbags. After filling the sandbags, I dug holes to bury them in each corner for extra stability (they can also be soaked with water for even more weight if needed). I'm very happy with my purchase and think this canopy will last for many more seasons.

Great value for the price. Much less expensive than similar products.Compact makes for easy storage and transport. Sets up easily, even by myself. Worked well and provided nice shade on the beach. Only problem was with windy day. Did not hold up well to stiff breeze and had to be taken down. The 4 small bungee cords that held the fabric to the tops of the poles would pop off in the wind. We eventually lost them. Would recommend for calm or light breeze day.

Quality! That is my first impression after using the tent 4 times thus far. Comparing it side by side with a very popular competitor, there is no comparison. The ABC canopy is much nicer, other reviews say they didn't get instruction, i had everything in the box. The yellow attracts a lot of attention and other vendors at the flea market have asked where i got the tent and what brand is it? After checking it out they have been very impressed with the construction. It isn't light, so two people is best to set it up, however it only takes about 5 minutes to set it up so it is very easy to do.The front awning is awesome, and it adds another layer of comfort for my customers. The side and back walls are very easy to put on, I will have to say the Velcro used could be a little stronger or wider, but that is really knit picky to say the least. I spent two days reading all the reviews of the ABC and Eurmax canopies and finally settled on the ABC. Have to say i'm as happy as can be so far.
