These are decent relay bypasses. There are 6 different styles that cover most modern applications. They won't work for most early 80's electric fuel pumps. These bypass switches do allow you to test your fuel pump directly with vehicle wiring. I do wish that these came in a case to keep them from running off, but overall, these are a good tool to have in your toolbox.

These switches allow a vehicle fuel pump to be energized without even having the ignition switch on. A pressure test can be performed or a fuel tank can be emptied for easier removal. Also stale or contaminated gas can be drained from the tank. This kit arrived in a plain cardboard box with no paperwork or brand name. A person with automotive electrical knowledge could make their own with a hardware store rocker switch, short wires and solderless terminals.
