This is a versatile caulking tool that covers all the bases. It has a sharp scraping blade with a black plastic cover on one end. On the same end is a rubber-like, green insert to shape the caulk bead. There are a total of 5 of these inserts with different shapes. The insert is mounted on a moving rail. When needed, you push it forward and it protrudes over the scraping blade. (See photos.) On the other end of the tool is a caulk removing blade that can be either pushed or pulled. I found that pushing with this blade was more effective. It has an integral blade for cutting off the tip of the caulking nozzle. Finally, it has a thick pin that fold out and can be used for clearing the caulking tube nozzle. This is the main caulking tool. In addition, there are three orange shaping tools that I think are intended for working grout. One even has a small half-moon projection for radiusing the grout between tiles, giving a nice even appearance that is below the tile surface. There is a spare scraper blade, and also a black, boot-shaped tool whose function is a complete mystery to me. Maybe it's for pulling old grout out from between tiles, but that's a guess. The box shows the usage of the various functions of the main tool, but not the others.I found the main tool comfortable and easy to use. The orange-headed shaping tool locks into place, but can be dislodged fairly easily. The balance of the tool works as advertised, but note that the V-shaped blade is not very sharp. It is more intended to pull the caulk away. You can then use the scraper on the other end to clean up the surface.I found it to be a good value.

Bathroom tile, shower stalls, windows, granite countertops, and the list goes on of the various places caulk and sealants are used. I've done all of those jobs and more, and most often I've used my good old fingers to smooth and shape the sealants. I've tried old credit cards and popsicle sticks but the results were unsatisfactory at best. I think that's all going to change with this new tool, and I'm glad to change. This multi-tool appears to be very thoughtfully designed to meet most if not all caulking challenges. It has several scraping options to remove old sealants, from a mounted razor blade to the push-or-pull corner scraper blade. The corner blade isn't sharpened, but it's designed and mounted at such an angle that old sealant can be easily scrapped and removed with both forward and backward motions. The blade's open design will keep it from getting clogged. The handle of the tool is designed with ridges to help keep it from slipping while in use. On the other end of the main tool, is a flat razor or knife blade. The blade isn't a standard utility knife blade, but a second blade is included in the kit and looks to be fairly easy to exchange.Once the old sealant is removed, and it's time for the new sealant, the multi-tool's many features are available. The tool includes a blade for cutting the tips from caulking tubes and there's a puncturing rod that's long enough to reach down the tube nozzle and pierce any in-tube seal. I've often had to use a 16D nail, so the piercing rod is a nice plus. The main multi-tool has a sealant shaping tip that's interchangeable with five different curvatures. Much better than using my fingers! The tool kit also comes with four additional scrapers/shapers with ten or more shapes or curvatures.Caulking and sealing are not my favorite tasks, but at least I'll dread them a little less with this tool. Based on its design features and the way it fits my hand, I'm comfortable rating it five-stars.

I’ve been caulking plenty of windows and baseboards for a few home renovation projects. Lots of videos teach the method with a wet bare finger, but it can make a mess on my hands and clothes and doing it on exterior like bricks can be irritable on the skin. I’m constantly stopping to get a rag, wipe my hands, rewet them, and so on and so on. Getting this has made it much more manageable. I still have to wipe it clean after every good run (doesn’t matter what tool or process you pick, you still have to do this), but at least it’s all maintainable on these plastic tips. This package comes with a BUNCH of accessories, some of which I haven’t needed, but the variety is welcome. The plastic “hook” tool has been nice to pull back old caulk. The blades it comes with are a size I don’t see as a standard, but it does come with one extra replacement one. It doesn’t need to be razor sharp, and for the price, it’s acceptable. It's a nice touch that you can slide the caulking tool over the scraping blade to transition, but it is not 100% smooth so it often requires using hands, so there is a tiny nitpick. Overall, it feels good enough in the hands and strong enough to last. Finally happy to have found something better than using my fingers!

I lost a similar tool, which was considerably more expensive. So I have some experience with using this type of product. The metal edge is not as beefy as what I used to have, but it works. I was able to cut through silicone easily going forward or backwards. My old tool did not allow me to go both directions so this is much nicer than I was used to.This product also has an area to use to cut the tip of the silicone tube. Sometimes the one on the Caulk Gun only works if you really push it in there, I was able to cut off just a little bit for a project where I needed a very thin lineI like the option that there are multiple pads so you can change to match the corner you are working on. For example, when I did my shower, I had to cut a piece of plastic to give me a rounded edge. This has that included. All in all, it was very easy to use, easy to clean, and I have everything back in the box and thrown in my tool chest until the next projectI don’t use these tools enough to invest in a very expensive one again, however, I found that this had everything I needed.
